Bought this to channel a PS4, an XBox 360 and a Switch, plus a Wii and a PS2 into one HDMI input on my TV. I'd already tried a couple of non-powered HDMI switches to no avail as it seems the PS4 and XBox 360 don't provide enough power to drive the HDMI switch and the signal kept dropping out. This one is powered by a USB input and so I thought I'd give it a try. Simple to install, just plug all the devices into the HDMI inputs, connect the HDMI output to the TV and plug the USB cable into a USB source (I used one on the back of my TV to avoid needing a separate power outlet and USB charger). It worked immediately and the remote control makes it easy to switch inputs - although it needs line of sight with the front of the HDMI switch to work. The picture quality is excellent and loses nothing as far as I can tell. Well made with a sturdy aluminium case and gold-plated contacts. Very pleased with it and a good price too.

I like this unit! I bought one a few months back. It worked fine and it's still going strong. So this is the second one I've bought. Very easy to install. Mine's a powered version - it comes with a USB charging lead but NOT a plug so I use it via an old Apple charger. The switch is iPhone size and pretty light so putting in new HDMI leads can pull it about when signal can be lost so I've stuck mine into place with glue dots to keep it stable. All my devices connect TO the switch with 1m HDMI cables and FROM switch to TV via one single 5m cheap HDMI cable which means not having to keep switching source on the TV leaving a couple of other HDMI ports free. The picture quality looks good to me (but I don't have a 4K set about which to comment). The little remote is light and looks cheap and plasticky but works fine - there's a slight signal delay when you switch and I watch the little LEDs to confirm I've switched. The supplier was great with the goods arriving bang on time. Hi again! Submitted this report back in December - and am just updating that review. Had been pleased with performance and so bought second unit. First unit clapped out yesterday after just four months' use but the company has been AMAZING! Initially offered to send two new cables for me to try which unfortunately didn't solve the problem and then sent a replacement unit which has been fine! I received regular emails from Amy checking in to see how things were going! If only every seller were as attentive, such a brilliant after sales service!

Great piece of kit and great value. Really useful being able to switch between 5 HDMI's quickly and easily, especially with the remote. Only gave 4 stars instead of 5 as its annoying that it'll automatically change the output when you switch something on - which can be helpful but in my case its annoying as I have everything plugged in and when I turn my PC on when using my console it'll automatically change to the PC output and interrupt the console, meaning it has to be changed back with the remote.

I'm using this device to share my ASUS monitor with an XBOX One, Sky-Q mini Box, a mac Mini and an older Dell PC with Windows XP. My main Windows 10 PC is connected to the DVI input on the monitor and the other devices have to share the single HDMI input on the monitor. The switcher comes with a lead to power it via a spare USB port or charger but I didn't need this as it powers itself via the HDMI cables. NOTE: it does not come with any HDMI cables so you may need to buy your own if you don't already have them. When I switch on one of the devices the MROCIOA switcher automatically switches the monitor input to that device. If another device is then powered on the switcher changes the monitor input to that one automatically. The currently active input is shown by a blue LED on the front panel, previously active inputs are shown by a red LED. What is doesn't seem to do automatically is to restore the input to the previous device if the second one is subsequently turned off. You need to use the supplied remote to re-select the first device, or press the button on the front of the box. The video quality is excellent and it also handles the audio via HDMI to the speakers I have plugged in to the audio out on my monitor. All-in-all I am very pleased with this device. The performance seems to be excellent and the cost makes it very good value.

My original review is below... Been using these four of these units for over a year now. Zero failures, all working absolutly great. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I've been using this and testing it for a while and so far I'm pleased to report it's working great. I'm planning to buy a few more for my other TV's. It's responsive, it works every time, the HDMI handshake connects every time and there's no loss of picture or signal. I'm using this in a quite complex set up with a varierty of devices all of which I can confirm work great. Tested on Sky HD+ boxes, Amazon Firestick (1st and 2nd gen), Chromecast (1st, 2nd 3rd gen), Various NowTV boxes, Roku sticks, PC, Laptop, X-Box and other gaming consoles. Absolutely great 100%. I've used it to output to various TV and projectors, again no problems what so ever. Tested at various resolutions no issues. (Unable to test 4K, but I've no doubt in my mind it would work as advertised!) I have a pile of cheap HDMI switches that I've bought off eBay the last few years all of which are defective... Little black box ones 5 to 1 etc... Don't buy any of these! Spend a little bit more and get this one. You won't be disappointed.

This was my second item that I've bought of this type. This one seemed to be of much better quality and is so easy to use, or so I thought. It was so convenient and meant I didn't have to get up and change HDMI connections at the back of my TV every time I just wanted to carry out a two minute check on something on that other device's channel. I simply aimed the remote at the switcher and grabbed the correct remote for that device and that was me done! However, it's started to play up and, as the 30 day window for returning was 5 months ago, I wonder to myself "What happened to the 12 month guarantee?" Something seems to be wrong with the Amazon system. Why can't they allow us to contact the seller? 2nd REVIEW: Well, another month on and a second port has stopped working, so I'm now downgrading this to 1 star. I don't know how to get in touch with mrocioa as they don't seem to have a supporting website. I still feel they should honour the 12 month warranty but I don't hold out any hope of that happening, nor of Amazon allowing me a means to communicate with the company. 3rd REVIEW: I found a contact email address for the company and sent them an email about the problem. This is where it started to get complicated as they wanted to know what equipment was connected to their device, what sort of cables I was using, including thickness, length and where I bought them. Well, I thought this was just their way of pushing me to buy gold plated cables from them so I started to change cables around on all my devices to see if one or two cables or devices were at fault. That got me even more confused but one thing it did do was make the problem worse. In the end I've concluded that the more I disturb the cables the more the problem becomes and so I'm cutting my losses and buying another one from a different company to supplement the good ones on this device.

Bought this in 2019, so that's over 3 years ago and it has worked fine without attaching a power supply. I have had a X box 360, PS4, Lidel Satellite box, Sony BD player and a PS3 attached, all work fine except the PS3 which will run in only 720p although I am not sure if attaching a power supply will sort this out. I recently added a Roku 4K stick and it runs perfect in 1080 (my TV is limited to 1080). I also got a Fire Stick 4k ultra HD, out the box it's set on the highest resolution and flickers badly, I reduced it to 1080 and it still flickers quite a bit, I then reduced it to 720 and its a lot better although it still flickers occasionally, I think attaching the power supply may sort this out also. After 3 years this review may still be premature. It's true that the power cable is too short which is why I never probably used it in the 1st place so I'm going to splice the cable with an old 5V 1A adapter and hopefully sort out the flickering with the Fire stick and get it running in 1080, I'm cool with the PS3 in 720 but if the power supply gets it to 1080 then that will be a bonus. If MROCIOA (unpronounceable) brought out an 8 way I wouldn't hesitate to buy it and maybe they could change the design so that ALL the cables were in the rear. I'm not really faulting the cable length, just buy a longer one or an extension and make sure the wall plug can deal with 0.1A. UPDATE.... My Panasonic TV which I got in 2009 is 1080 but will not deal with the Firestick 4K so it's no fault on MR Ooioa 4k firestick is crap for older HDMI TV's but the switch stands good. And adding the power supply made no difference..........So go for it.

Works great for 4k 60hz. The auto switching works fine, it's small and neat with good quality connectors and I rarely remember the box is there, it's super easy. It's been running for three years with no issues. The only problem I've found is it won't pass HDR from the Xbox X to Samsung TV, whereas the Switch 2 passes HDR through fine using the same cables.

Har haft den i ett par veckor och den fungerar utmärkt. Det enda negativa är att den har uttag på tre sidor, så när sladdar sitter i så tar den väldigt mycket plats, trots att den är så liten.

Si tratta di un marchio a me del tutto sconosciuto, ma ho acquistato il dispositivo per le numerose recensioni positive che ho letto. E ho fatto bene. Confermo quanto viene detto da altri, funziona perfettamente anche senza alimentazione, purché gli apparecchi collegati abbiano un comportamento standard. Commuta da solo passando da un ingresso all'altro in pochissimo tempo, senza utilizzare il telecomando incluso. Niente da dire. Il marchio è sconosciuto ma il risultato è eccellente.

Ich habe das Gerät als Ersatz für einen 3-fach HDMI-Switch gekauft, um den wachsenden Geräte-Zoo komfortabel an einen Fernseher mit zu wenigen HDMI Anschlüssen benutzen zu können. Was soll ich sagen - das Teil funktioniert seit 2 Monaten unauffällig. Ich habe ihn mittels Klebestreifen hinter den Fernseher geklebt. Die Fernbedienung hat nur eine billig wirkende Folien-Tasten, aber funktioniert zuverlässig auch ohne Sichtkontakt zum Switch. Da der Switch aber automatisch zu einem neu eingeschalteten Gerät wechselt, brauche ich die FB nur wirklich selten. Die LEDs dimmen automatisch nach einigen Sekunden ab, aktive Ports sind blau, Ports mit Signal die aber inaktiv geschaltet sind leuchten rot. Die LEDs sind nicht abschaltbar. Bei mir laufen ein FireTV, ein BluRay Player, eine XBOX One, ein SNES Mini und eine Nintendo Switch an dem HDMI Switch reibungslos. Der Switch kann auch über die angeschlossenen HDMI Geräte mit Strom versorgt werden, wenn diese das unterstützen. Bei mir läuft er wegen des FireTV 4k Stick ohne weitere Stromversorgung. Bitte beim Kauf beachten, dass kein HDMI Kabel beliegt. Ich hatte vorher einen Switch mit integriertem Kabel und musste dann noch ein HDMI Kabel zum Anschluss des neuen Switch an den TV kaufe.

使っていたAUKEYのセレクターが壊れてしまったため、購入。PS4とWii U、SWITCHを接続したのですが、直前に買った中華性は不安定で自動切換えが動作しない事があった為に返品しました。こちらは、そういった事もなく、動作も安定していて、きちんと後から起動したものに自動的に切り替わります。リモコンはめったに使わないので、動作確認した位です。問題ありませんでした。以前のセレクターが壊れたのは、ちょっと熱を持つAVアンプの上に置いていたからかも、知れませんね。これがどのくらい長持ちするのか期待しております。（以前のは1年ちょっとで壊れてしまいました・・）
