Good buy for beginners
I read the reviews before buying this product being a complete beginner I wasn't exactly sure what i was buying. I tested out all the nibs. This is the first time of using a product like this, so I did watch some videos to learn the basics. The nibs do have reference numbers attached to each nib, which corresponds to the photo in this listing. After identifying them all I did a quick swatch test in a Moleskin A4 notebook. Flat Nib No 002 - I didn't find much difference in the line thickness. Felt nice to use and not too scratchy. Did hold a lot of ink. I did a continuous line about 4 times before it started running out. Student Nib No. 003 - I struggled with this one a lot. Very scratchy. G-Nip No. 04 - My favourite so far. There are a choice of line thicknesses from thin lines to thick. Holds a lot of ink. Broadlingual No 005 - This was the largest of the set. I couldn't see much line difference. I'm pleased with the product which I purchased for drawing.

Really good quality set of nibs and wooden pens.. I use them frequently for ink and wash watercolour painting... I would recommend them and the supplier...

Good starter pack
Good price to try dip pens for first time. Did the job and quality fine for price.

They are good however there is now way to tell which nib is what if its your first time.

Useless Pen holders.
Completely useless. The first time i used this dip pen the nib fell out into the ink bottle, making a terrible mess! On further investigation with the other nibs, none of them fitted into the holder sufficiently well to hold the nib firmly enough to prevent them falling out. I should have known better - buy cheap & eventually buy twice. I really wish I had not bothered with these cheap pen holders, as they have caused such a mess on my art set up. With regards to the nibs, I have only managed to use one before it fell out, & I was not impressed. It seemed very low quality. My advice - go for a better quality set & pay more !
