7 years old and its still working

I have a v2 model bought it at oct 2023 , it is supporting monitor mode and packet injection by default, i didn't had to install any drivers , but sometimes it just stops detecting in montor mode and shows that network is down , but as soon as I do aireplay-ng check for packet injection, it gets up and running or I may have to plug and unplug it 5-6 times , I think this is good , but my system has some faults for this , anyways I'm a newbie to this linux, so I don't have much info and knowledge but you can buy it , coz it worked for me a little , I was able to capture a 4 way handshake of my wpa network after 3-4 days of learning and trail and error , and hashcat is showing it will take me 17000 years to decrypt it 😂😂

Simply superb. I didn't expect this much. Now using this I connect internet and typing this review. before purchase I have little bit doubt. after I used this no more doubts. and I love this product.

Not working and The driver's of this model is not available on their official website I tried in 3 different systems in linux and windows but it's is not working Best option to buy the old version v1.... Customer support is not available when you have any query about this model they didn't respond

Though this works well in Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, the firmware version is old, as is the adapter. It was manufactured way back for Windows 7 and they have not updated the software for it, in spite of numerous requests in its forum. They still manufacture the same adapter, without newer version, (it is still Version 1.1, though manufactured in 2015 !) because it proved to be a popular one and keep selling it. Therefore, though it works as a USB WiFi adapter, it is not optimal. The TP-Link wireless Configuration Utility that is given in the Resources CD doesn't get installed in either Windows 8.1 or Windows 10. So, you have to use some other 3rd party software to create an AP. It would be better to buy some other recently manufactured product that support Win 8.1/10. Edit: I found that most of the USB Adapters are the same, they don't support Windows 10 ! That way, this IS a good adapter. Also, I could install the Configuration Utility by using the compatibility mode as Windows 7 (beware using compatibility for Win 8 brings its own problems, so it is better to use Win 7 compatibility) So I changed the rating to 3-stars, I refuse to give more because TP-Link doesn't bother to provide updated drivers !

Excelente antena, permite tener internet y compartirlo como repetidor de wifi. Útil para lugares lejanos del módem o router. Llegó muy rápido el paquete como 2 días máximo y muy bien embalado, la antena ayuda y encima tienes un cable de 1m para tener más espacio en tus entradas usb La estoy probando para reproducir los videos de las CCTV por wifi y hasta ahorita no he tenido fallas, mantiene una conexión sin interrupciones (claro, no deja de ser bueno mejor por cable). Mi caso sería para trabajar en oficina, desconozco si pueda mantener la conexión para juegos online La antena es desmontable

سعرها بسيط مقارنه بادائها , انا استعملها لكالي لينكس مايحتاج تعريفات للادابتر بس اشبكه و يشتغل على طول , مداها كبير و تلقط الشبكات البعيده و شي حلو انه يجي معها سلك يو اس بي (زي التوصيله) عشان تقدر تغير مكان الادابتر براحتك , يفضل تحط الادابتر جنب الدريشه عشان تلقط شبكات اكثر

It's a solid, no-frills, stable adapter. I've received version/revision v3.2, therefore it has a Realtek chip, not Atheros.

Great item worked fine, returned it as i did not notice it was only 2.4 ghz and not 5ghz
