⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Case – Perfect Fit and Smooth Operation. WELL DONE SPIGEN
The Spigen Fold Seven case is exactly what a foldable phone case should be. The fit is absolutely perfect—snug, precise, and secure without adding unnecessary bulk. It maintains the sleek profile of the phone while still feeling solid and protective in hand. One of the most impressive aspects is how fluid the open-and-close motion is. The phone opens and closes smoothly with zero resistance, binding, or awkward pressure on the hinge. Even better, there is no separation at all between the faceplate and the phone. Once installed, it stays firmly in place and feels like a natural extension of the device rather than an add-on. The case doesn’t flex, shift, or loosen during daily use, and it inspires real confidence when handling a foldable phone—something not all cases manage to do. Spigen clearly put thoughtful engineering into this design, and it shows in everyday usability. If you’re looking for a non-bulky, well-engineered case that protects without interfering with the foldable experience, this one is an easy recommendation. Spigen nailed it.

Great case but few small details could make it perfect.
After trying a few cases and having issues with them (flimsy kickstands, loose fittings, or overly bulky) decided to try this case and absolutely love it though I do have two slight complaints. The case itself feels durable and install was super simple and straight forward. Peel the covers off the sticky mounts and press on the phone with it open. Before install I noted the case resisted flexing before install and either open or closed the linked hinges feel solid and always line up perfectly and just feels great in the hand. I very much like that there is no built in screen protector so you can choose your own. But that leads to the first downside for me. The left side of the front screen case is super thin and just flexes and shifts alot. I am tempted to try and find some super thin adhesive tape to hold it down but without the built in cover it's to be expected. Though would be amazing if that was included. The other issue is the hinge cover. The springs return nicely and it's a very slim cover for dust and dirt but being so thin it does seem warped and doesn't sit very flush with the rest of the case. Pressing on it gently you can see it shift closer and flex slightly. I am not sure if it's a general fitment issue from the thin flexible edge of the front screen case or not. While not a major concern it should be noted. The magnet itself is insanely strong in mine. I have seen others complain but I feel with quality magsafe products it's not an issue. My scosche car mount can hold the phone folded open in portrait view without falling or rotating. My battery pack attaches strongly but the real kicker is the magsafe kickstand. I can not remove it folded flat against the phone the magnets are just too strong. I have to open it and lever it off the back to swap the the car dock. Not a downside in my opinion. Overall it's an amazing case without the gimmicks or niche ideas I have had in others that honestly just complicate the design without adding long term value. Will definitely be choosing spigen again.

Very good impact protection while looking stylish STILL.
Very high quality materials, fit and finish is top notch as always with Spigen products. Best Samsung Z fold 7 case I've come across yet. I was on the fence because of the price but it does provide a very good level of protection and shock absorption for drops. Just make sure you get a decent front screen protection also. Can't be too safe with an expensive screen replacement being the option. The magnet also is pretty strong allowing for easy mount to a magnetic arm while hands free.

Really nice, but not *perfect*.
After replacing my Fold 3 with a Fold 6, I knew I needed a better case. I'd used an aramid fiber case for my 3 and loved it, but I had no hinge protection. By the time I was done with it, the hinge had so much debris inside it that I couldn't unfold it all the way. For my 6, I absolutely wanted hinge protection. I knew it wouldn't seal it from dust and tiny debris, but it's better than nothing and should at least help. I really wanted an aramid case again as they're very thin and feel great, but couldn't find any acceptable one. I spent days and days researching different cases. After narrowing it down to three, I pulled the trigger on this one and planned to return it if I didn't like it. Lucky for me, it's great. It's slightly thicker than aramid fiber and is noticable, but not so much that it's uncomfortable or makes the phone feel significantly different. After a day or two I didn't even notice is was there. I was worried about the quality of the hinge cover as it's connected on only one side, but it's worked very well. My only complaint is with the front screen cover (more like bezel) which, unfortunately, is always the weak point on Fold cases. As is the case with most cases (pun intended), the most they can offer is a bezel that fits as tightly as possible and utilizes double-sided tape. They actually did a pretty good job! It fits the front of the phone very well, better than most. My only complaint is the right-side edge of the front cover portion; it uses double-sided tape along the length of the phone to secure itself to it, but the tape is too thin to be effective. Even with the great fit, immediately after installing it would slightly pop off. Not upward, but to the side. No amount of holding it back in place would last more than a few minutes. Luckily, as I said before, the front piece actually fits the phone extremely well, it's a tight fit, so there are no issues with the piece coming off - it's not going anywhere. That one edge will just have a tiny amount of play to it for a while. Fortunately, it seems that over time it's molded itself against the phone a bit. It's still not completely secure, for instance if you pull on it slightly with your finger you'll notice that it will bend outward a tiny bit rather than being secured to the side of the phone, but outside of intentionally doing that it seems to be a non-issue at this point. My only other slight complaint isn't unique to this case - the front screen lip. In order to protect the screen when you drop it flat on its face, the surrounding portion has a *slight* lip; maybe a millimeter or so. Because of this, actions that require you to slide to the very edges of the front screen are more difficult. Trying to select text that begins or ends at the edge of your screen, using swipe controls in place of recent/home/back buttons, trying to drag all icons to different home screen pages, etc, can all be a bit of a pain. Luckily some of these are fixed in software; for instance, you can now use two fingers to move apps and other stuff on your home screen (push and hold the all with one, then use a second finger to swipe between pages). Selecting a block of text where the first or last word begins/ends right at the edge of the screen is probably the biggest example - trying to get that one letter that's up against the screen border can take some finagling. Again, though, that isn't unique to this case and I'd rather be slightly annoyed twice a week than not have a screen lip and have my cover screen get cracked. Long story short - it feels high quality, the hinge cover is MUCH better than expected, the grip is good, it doesn't feel excessively thick, the cutouts for USB-C, the side buttons, cameras, and fingerprint sensor are all great, and it looks good.

Precision Engineering – Secure Grip with Perfect Button Access
This Spigen case fits my Galaxy Z Fold 7 perfectly. Despite being a protective case, it doesn’t add a lot of thickness or bulk to the phone, which keeps it easy to carry. The Highlights: Great Hand-Feel: The case has a good grip, so the phone doesn’t feel like it will slip out of my hand. Logical Button Access: I really like that the volume buttons are left uncovered. The case is beveled around the power button, making it very easy to reach and use the fingerprint sensor. Effective Protection: The edges are raised just enough to protect both the front screen and the camera lenses when the phone is set down on flat surfaces. Strong MagSafe: The MagFit feature works exactly as expected; it has a strong attraction to magnets and works well with my accessories. Final Verdict: This is a solid choice if you want to protect your Z Fold 7 without making it feel oversized. The combination of the slim profile, secure grip, and easy button access makes it very functional for daily use.

Spigen fails to hit the mark yet again, with another poorly designed case at an extremely high price
Don't recommend for anyone who uses the open mode to play games. Very expensive and because of the design the hinge protector, phone can no longer sit flat on table in tablet mode. Some people like this as it props the phone up a tad for watching a video. The problem with this is if you want your phone to stay still while tapping on screen, it will not. Since there is no way to disable hinge protector, especially while open that does not require you to either completely remove the case (ruining the adhesive strips every time) or ripping the hinge off completely defeating the purpose of a hinge protector in the first place as once it's forcibly removed I doubt it will just pop back on (considering it's held in place with springs that would unwind once removed). This is an enthusiast level price being 75+ USD and some countries complaining of prices due to shipping issues of 200+ in some areas because of availability. That is a lot to spend on a case that offers close to no protection if dropped while screen is open (the bevel on insides is same level as the screen, so realistically it's offering no protection for dropped open devices which is the most likely scenario I drop it in. Realistically, with this case on this phone it becomes worse than my s23 for gaming purposes since the outside screen is smaller, and who buys a MSRP $2k phone for not enjoying games on the larger screen. TLDR; Overpriced cheap Chinese design that uses super glue to hold it on the device (adhesive strips). No forethought went into the design of this case for the device it was made, as the usage of this device is meant to be primarily open for the bigger screen real estate. Avoid this and get an otter box, you'll get a better protecting case, that is bulkier, but will not require you to play games at a third of the size of the device is capable of. If someone had handed me the (2) pieces of the case that locks on phone and asked me how much I thought it cost, I would have said 15-20 bucks, not 70+. I probably wouldn't buy another Spigen case, as this is the second case I bought in the last 3 years for 2 different devices at a high price that burned me. If Spigen would stop firing their engineers (the people that made them a good company in the first place) and outsourcing their manufacturing needs to a cheap Chinese company(ies) (only to slap their own "logo" on the side and call it a day) they might retain some of their somehow loyal customers for a mediocre overprice product. I on the other hand won't get burned a third time, and if you're considering buying spigen, don't. Save 30 bucks and buy an otterbox, as it offers better protection and a better design especially for games. Couldn't be more disappointed in spigen products over the last year or two. Management seems to be making poor decisions to cheap out in cost while cheapening the quality of the product. Some might call that "good marketing" but even a student failing a basic economics course in college can tell you this strategy only pays off in the extreme short run and always leads to bankruptcy. The shame here is spigen used to make amazing cases. Now management destroyed the name.

Best ZFold case I've owned!!
I have had a very hard time finding sturdy, but not overly bulky, ZFold 6 cases.. Especially with a good hinge protector, because they're usually pretty flimsy and break relatively easily/quickly.. A lot of case don't fit right with a screen protector, too.. This is the first case I have bought that has ACTUALLY been durable.. The hinge protector is so much better than any other I've had, you can feel the difference.. And it fits with a screen protector.. I will only buy this case for the remainder of the time that I own a ZFold.. It's the only one I've tried that's been worth the money!!

It protects your phone but...
Update: August 2024. I've used and abused it for a year. Haven't experienced any of the issues other reviewers claim. I noticed in the pictures of other reviews complaining about it breaking that the cases don't seam to be installed tightly to the phone. Mine fits perfectly. I don't overextend the thing cover so my springs haven't broke. And I have the case tightly fit on the edges of the phone. My complaints posted earlier still stand. But as for quality and durability, it gets a 5. It's been dropped, slid, carelessly tossed, drug through dirt, and fiddles with probably more than it should have been. Phone is good except a few little Knicks on the hinge from sand and grit. Case is scarred and scratched but otherwise undamaged. I'm not careful with my phone and it's held up a year. I'd buy it again. It protects your phone. Feels good and is good quality like all the other Spigen cases I have used. I don't like the smooth, rather boring soft touch finish. Not only is it boring and plain but it wears off quickly, leaving shiny plastic exposed in spots. Atthe bottom of the hinge cover, a small piece is delaminating. It appears to have been glued on and then soft touch coated to look like 1 piece. I've only had it a couple months now but it isn't holding up like most spigen cases. I also don't like the fact that it attaches with adhesive tape. It hasn't come off, but to access your Sim card, you need to remove the case and guess what... Now it needs to be replaced. It literally costs $75 to swap the Sim card. I know it's an odd design but Spigen, if you're reading this, you pay engineers to design this expensive product. They need to do a better job and get more creative. We all need a case that can be removed and reused. They should also warn you upfront that this expensive case is a 1 time use only. While I'm mostly pleased with this case, it's more than a minor inconvenience to have to buy a new case every time you want to clean your phone or remove the sim card or any other reason you want to remove the case. Maybe they should offer free replacements for 2 years. At the $94 price point on Spigen's website, it would be a fair solution. To sum it up, it's a good case if you are ready to commit to it. No switching multiple cases out depending on your mood....unless you have hundred$ to burn.
