Blukar LED Torch Rechargeable,[2 Pack] Super Bright Flashlight with 5 Modes

I wanted something a bit larger, sturdier and brighter than those small LED torches that I have around my house, and this fits the bill very well. It's solidly made, fits nicely in the hand (not too big and not too small), and although it has multi-modes - seemingly inevitable in all torches like this - has a simple operation if that's all you want. Switch it on, after 8 secs press the switch again to turn off. If you want it off sooner, just press and hold the switch for 2 secs. Not need to cycle through those modes if you don't want to. One of the modes is SOS (in morse). It could be useful I suppose, but the others not really. It is super-bright. And rechargeable, which is what I wanted. It has a USB-C connector and comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable. One reviewer complained bitterly that the cable wasn't USB-C to USB-C, but it doesn't claim to be. USB-A to USB-C is what most people would expect. USB power sources are almost universally USB-A. My one criticism is that the charging port is directly under your finger when you hold the torch, and has a rubber cover which constantly gets dislodged. It probably won't be long before it comes off altogether. I'm not relying on the torch being waterproof, but it certainly won't be if that happens. This one criticism aside, I'd still recommended it. I looked at a bunch of other torches before buying this, and of course I haven't actually tried them for comparison, but from what I read I'd say this is about as good as it gets for the price.

So far has been an excellent buy. Solid, rechargeable, bright, multi function, easy to use. Have bought this brand - though not this model- a couple of times before and found that the battery gives out after a few recharges

This torch is brilliant. So powerful. Took it on a camping trip and it was brilliant, the charge lasted an I didn’t need to recharge for my whole trip. I won’t be using any others from now on. A great purchase.

I bought this two pack to carry in the car expecting it to be a fairly basic rechargeable torch that could be charged from the usb socket. It actually feels very well made with a smooth slide action for changing the beam and a very tactile aluminium finish that looks like it will be hard wearing.

These are brilliantly bright! Much brighter than another battery operated torch I use. These are bigger than the single one I bought (from the same brand) a year/so ago. Love that they're rechargeable & so (as long as you keep them charged up), in an emergency, you don't need to scrabble around trying to find batteries for them. They have several brightnesses & you can concentrate the spot you're looking at in more detail. Nice & solid and a good price for two. Highly recommended!

Wir nutzen die Taschenlampen regelmäßig auf dem Campingplatz und sind wirklich begeistert. Sie liegen gut in der Hand, sind einfach zu bedienen und liefern eine erstaunlich hohe Helligkeit. Egal ob abends auf dem Weg zu den Sanitäranlagen oder beim Grillen vor dem Wohnwagen – sie leisten zuverlässig ihren Dienst. Besonders praktisch finden wir den integrierten USB-Ladeanschluss. Dadurch muss man keine Batterien mehr wechseln und kann die Lampen einfach über eine Powerbank oder im Wohnwagen aufladen. Das ist unterwegs sehr komfortabel. Die Verarbeitung macht einen wertigen Eindruck und die Akkulaufzeit ist für unsere Einsätze vollkommen ausreichend. Für den Preis erhält man ein wirklich überzeugendes Gesamtpaket. Pacco arrivato un giorno prima del previsto. La torcia si presenta nella sua scatolina con annesso un foglio con istruzioni. Anche se è made in Cina Si nota subito la qualità del prodotto, interamente fatta in alluminio e piacevole al tatto. Ha un indicatore che segna la carica in modo da sapere quando si sta per scaricare. Ha un entrata per la ricarica USB di tipo c. Fa' una luce molto forte anche se nel video non rende bene l'idea, e si può regolare sia l'intensità in 3 livelli più 2 di s.o.s e infine uno zoom con il fascio che riesce ad arrivare a circa 80/100 metri. La durata della batteria per ora sembra buona infatti usandola solo per 5/10 Min al giorno per portare in giro il cane sotto casa ancora dopo 10gg non l'ho ricaricata ed ancora né ha. Presa in offerta appena sotto i 15€ posso dire che li vale tutti e la ricomprei a questo prezzo ma non a prezzo pieno di quasi 20€. Non trovo difetti, se proprio vogliamo essere pignoli ho voluto/dovuto modificare il tappo in plastica della chiusura USB di ricarica tagliando il piccolo pezzo che rimaneva fuori per facilitare l'apertura infatti infilando la torcia in tasca capitava che si apriva incastrandosi. C'è scritto che è garantita 3anni..Nel complesso ottima torcia

This Blukar flashlight doesn't compare to high end flashlights, like LED Lenser, but it costs about a tenth of their price. And for that low price, you get a reasonably solid, very bright flashlight that outdoes any conventional flashlight. The rechargeable battery alone is worth the price of the flashlight. One advantage of being made more cheaply is that it's lighter, so you're more likely to carry it. For harsh or emergency conditions, I'll still rely on my LED Lenser, but this Blukar makes a great utility tool to leave in the toolbox and in a few strategic positions around the home. Operation is easy, but can be awkward. If you turn on the flashlight, for 8 seconds, pressing the ON/OFF button will cycle lighting modes. You have to wait for 8 seconds to turn it off with one click or you can click 4 times to cycle through all the modes until you reach OFF. After 8 seconds, you can't change the lighting mode without turning off the flashlight. Not a very bright design, but not bad enough to be a deal breaker. There are 5 lighting modes: (1) very bright, (2) just a bit less than the brightest, (3) still very bright, but just a bit less again, (4) strobe, (5) S.O.S. The different brightness levels are so similar as to be redundant. The lowest lighting level isn't likely to save you more than a few minutes of battery life and it's too bright when you need a low intensity light. The strobe is something that you find on real tactical flashlights where it's faster and more intense, the purpose being to startle and stun an adversary. On this Blukar, the worst it will do is maybe make your adversary start a disco party. There's nothing tactical about it. The S.O.S. is a dubious feature. I doubt many people would recognize it for what it is, but sometimes, a Hail Mary is all you have left, so why not. The rubber plug protecting the USB-C charging port is very loose, so I wouldn't count on this flashlight being waterproof, except in a light rain. The zooming works, but it's not impressive. At the widest, it's not wide at all. At its thinnest, it turns into a square. Still, it's more useful than not having it. Conclusion: buy it. Buy more than one. For all its imperfections, it's a steal at its regular price and it performs better than anything else you'll get for that price.
