Been using this for a few weeks now for my cat (sometimes my friend’s small dog too lol) and honestly it works better than I expected. Setup was easy, screen is simple to figure out, and the portion control is pretty accurate once u test it once or twice. I set it to 3 meals/day and it’s been super consistent. The 8L tank is HUGE – lasts like 2-3 weeks easily. I like that it locks tight so no weird smell or ants. Voice record function is kinda cute (my cat literally comes running every time it “meows” my voice 😹). Cleaning is easy too, all the top parts come off. Just don’t wash the base obviously. I use both cable + batteries so even if power goes out, it still feeds fine. Solid product for the price. Would recommend to friends.

The timer for dispensing is working great. Size very good for my dog who is about 80 lbs. The manual gives feeding portion that are not accurate. Had to test quite a few times to be able to set up 2 feedings with the right portion for dog. Was easy to program, accurate time release. Now I need to see how long the his kibble fits in food tank and how long it will last. I think the size of the kibble determines amount food tank will hold. Easy to assemble and easy to clean. *The battery back up did not work. Update: when setting the time or scheduling the feedings there is no am or pm. For it to work for my dog I had to set feedings at 6 to 6. So at 6 am he gets fed then again at 6 pm. Not sure if helpful.

It has only been a couple of months and it started malfunctioning, I'm gone a lot of the time for work now and it's really frustrating not knowing if my cat is being fed. When I go to see if she's been fed I have to reconnect to the device and it doesn't show any history after that so when I'm not at home and it's disconnected there is no way of knowing if she got fed.

I've had this feeder for 4 months now. I was desperate. My large breed poodle has bilious vomiting syndrome. He vomits daily if he isn't fed frequently. He has to eat every 3-4 hours day AND night. This feeder has made life so much easier! Most feeders are made for small breed dogs or for cats. If you want a full size meal, you might have an issue but my dog is 80 pounds and this still works great. He needs smallish meals throughout the day and night. I put the feeder up on a bin so he's not eating from the ground and it's been such an great improvement to not have to tether myself to his feeding routine. Cons: it doesn't keep great time. It loses about 10 minutes every 4 weeks and has to be reset monthly. The digital set up is a little tricky to figure out but it's doable. I wish it had more feeding settings per day but it doesn't and I just do those couple of extra daily feeds myself. Pros: it always works. It has a decent reservoir for the food and only needs to be filled weekly or so. It's easy to fill. It has a message recorder, which we'd use if he wasn't being fed in the middle of the night. You can press the button and a quick snack will drop if needed. It has a battery backup in case of a power outage. The bowl pops out easily for necessary washings. I definitely recommend this feeder. If it broke tomorrow, I'd buy another one. If you have a large breed dog it'll work with multiple smallish meals just put it up on a bin to elevate it.

This has been a great automatic feeder. It has been outside and has held up nicely and a lifesaver for quick trips out of town! The only complaint I have is that the charge doesn’t hold up as long as I would have hoped (about a week), but we’re never gone long enough where it’s an issue.

This automatic feeder holds more food than most of the automatic feeders I found (on-line) and I purchased it because the old auger type feeder I used failed after 8 years of use (6 years use for my old dog). It took my current Dalmatian dog a few days to get used to the new machine (I think the voice recording I made scares him hearing my voice with me standing across the room), but he finally caught on (after he used the old machine for over 2 years). It has also been a trial-and-error process to figure out how much food each of the food increments delivers. Owner's book that comes with the unit does not give an amount of food for each increment (so I try to feed my dog around 2 cups of food in the morning and a cup and half in the evening). So far, after a week's time the machine is working, and I hope me and my dog get a long life out of the feeder. It does not seem to be as robust in design as the old pet feeder that had an external timer unit. I have only had one feeder clog error message with this new machine and had to twist the blade shaft to clear the blades. Actually, having the unit display an error message when a clog is detected is a nice feature because the machine let me know that it did not complete a feeding session so I could manually feed my dog. I know, I don't like to be hungry! I also like this machine because it doesn't have a camera, Internet and Wi-Fi access. After having 3 dogs using a feeder machine, I find those high-tech amenities unnecessary. My main reason for having a feeding machine is to feed the same amount of food at the same time of the day because dogs like routine and it keeps my dog fit and healthy. Usually, the feed schedule of the machine is when I am having a meal so we are both eating at the same time.

Game changer for our busy household! Using it on battery power and it works great. Simple to setup. I do with there was a clear way to portion, but it’s trial and error until you see how many servings your dogs food measurement is (my dog eats “14” servings to achieve 1 cup of food per meal. I LOVE this.

Works well, set up only slightly complicated for portion size, had to reprogram once as settings were lost after unplugging but otherwise really happy
