Really Good for Everyday wear
The Eddie Bauer Men’s Rainier Pants have been a great pair of pants. They’re comfortable, lightweight, and have a nice amount of stretch, which makes them especially good for hiking, working outside, or just wearing around town. They move with you without feeling restrictive.I really like the overall construction and the way they handle changing weather. They’re practical without feeling overly bulky, and the material has a durable feel while still being comfortable enough for all-day wear. The fit is also very good—roomy enough to move comfortably without looking baggy.The pockets are another big plus. They’re well placed and useful without making the pants feel bulky.Overall, I’m very impressed with these pants. They strike a great balance between comfort, durability, mobility, and weather protection. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a versatile pair of outdoor pants that can handle hiking and everyday use. Definitely worth the money.

Sized a half to full size too big
I used to wear the First Ascent line everywhere. They were my favorite pant. Some they discontinued then it seems the Rainers are the next best option.Overall they’re a great pair of pants. The sizing is a bit of an issue though. They feel like they’re half a size larger than what you want. I’m 5’9, 178lbs and ordered a 34x30. All of my other pants and shorts are that size. These ones came in loose in every area of the pants. It looks too baggy and the waist folds in a little when I wear a belt. I recently ordered a 32x30 to see the difference. The waist on those ones fit much better, but now the area around the thighs and butt feel a tiny bit tight, but everything down past that is great.Might depend on your body types, but in my experience going a size down made better sense.
