I am absolutely thrilled with this ESV Scripture Journal for the Psalms! The artwork by Ruth Chou Simons is stunning, making this a truly beautiful journaling book to pick up and use every day. The spiral binding is a fantastic touch since it allows the book to lay perfectly flat, but my favorite features are the text and the pages themselves. The font size is amazing—it is incredibly comfortable and easy to read without straining. Furthermore, the paper quality is just lovely to write on. It has a great texture and is thick enough that my pens glide smoothly across the page. If you are looking for an inspiring, high-quality way to study and reflect on the Psalms, I cannot recommend this edition enough!

I’m really enjoying this small part of the Bible in journal form. I read through a Psalm then write it out replacing my name/circumstances as I align with the writer. Plenty of room to write in the margins also, besides the blank lined pages. Could be a darker print but it’s okay.

This is a beautiful journal for studying the book of Psalms. I have enjoyed using it so much. It is exactly what I was looking for - the Bible on one page side and a blank journaling page on the facing one.

I love this notebook! Being able to work through a Psalms study and take notes right alongside what I'm studying is so great. It lays flat super well being in a ringed binding, and the paper is nice and thick. My colored and black ink pens don't bleed through at all, and you can only very faintly see the shadow of words on the next page. Great value for the price, exactly what I wanted.

A definite 9.95 out of 10 for me. I love having the book of Psalm as a single book. With each section being scripture on one side and a full journal page on the other side it gives you so many options. Even the side that has the scripture text has such wide margins that you can add additional journaling there. The only complaint is I wish the pages were a wee bit thicker so as not to see the chapter on the next page. It’s not so distracting that you can’t get by but it would be nice just not having to see it at all.

Love to read the Psalms like the spiral binding

This is both beautiful and well thought out. Psalms are in easy to read font. Wide spiral binding allows you to be open to both pages or fold back to one for easy writing. Pages are thick enough so writing in pen does not bleed through the pages. Great for recording how each Psalm applies to your life, what the psalm reveals about God or any other revelations you get while reading. I highly recommend this journal.

I bought this as a trial .. and I was blown away by how pretty the cover and the great idea of journaling the psalms. I bought another for my sister :)

I bought 2, one for myself, one for a gift. I’m glad I did because the way they were packed in the box, one had bent pages and dark scuffs on the edges. The other was in great shape 5/5. It has beautiful pages, easy to write in because of the spiral binding. Easy to read! Recommend

The journalling pages are so handy! I use that space to write daily prayers.
