Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Custom Spray Universal Bonding Primer, Gray

I used this for the base coat when repainting my Jeep hood. It laid down easily and was sealed after sanding. I was a bit amazed at how well the paint sprays. I got no runs or rough spots.

this stuff is great, and I love the adjustable nozzle selector.

This is not your daddy's spray paint. Spray coatings are far better than they were 20 or 40 years ago and Rust Oleum is still the leader. No runs. Smooth coat. Fast drying. Good thickness.

My son likes to print on his 3D printer using filament. Ive tried painting the filament before without a primer and it just chipped off. We sprayed the primer on a finished piece and painted over and it worked like a charm. It also dries really quickly and has so many settings that it made it very smooth with no drips.

Bought two cans because I've always used Rust-oleum in the past. Great paint overall! But When I tried this can with the new nozzle type, It would just spray all over and paint would bubble up under plastic. I thought maybe it was off centered but no, it was aligned in the correct slot. I cleaned it and tried again. Same thing. Also opened the 2nd can and had simliar results. Not sure if both nozzles / cans were damaged in transit or if this design it bad but I will not be buying these again.

Choice of spray nozzle is helpful. Some splatter. Wipe nozzle with towel occasionally.

Used it to give a base cost to PVC pipe before painting to match siding. Worked good do far.

Awesome primer. Went on perfectly, spray was awesome. No leakage or spitting. Color, coverage and compatibility all spot on. I highly recommend
