Bright light
Bought for the winter/ dark nights when I may have to visit remote or unlit sites. Works well, very bright, I did get a note with the lantern saying the on/off button could be stiff but it's as expected, same as any other I've had. Comes with 12V charger and 230V charger so can charge in van.

Draper 31940 rechargeable 19 LED Torch.
The delivery was good and the item arrived in good time. Packaging was fine. The switch does not have a very positive action and difficult to switch on and off with one hand. The overall quality of the torch is not very robust. No adjustment available to the light beam.

Found the lamp very hard to turn on and off.

On/off button is terrible.
Torch istself is great but the on/off button is so difficult. Cant use your finger or thumb, need something much harder to press the button. Wouldn't recommend.

Replacement
I ordered it as a Christmas present for my 90 year old father, but sadly I have heard it is not working and I live abroad and no idea how to ask for a replacement. Apparently the switch is not working. Assistance would be gratefully appreciated.

GOOD CHARGING INDICATOR BUT SWITCH NEEDS A LOT OF PRESSURE
I had a previous Draper rechargeable lamp for many years. The previous lamp had no charging light and this newer version is an improvement as it has a red light when charging and green when fully charged. The On/Off switch requires a lot of pressure and you have to press until it clicks.This was a bit worrying at first but OK now I have got used to it
