Nitras 6230 ESD Gloves, Anti-Static and Touchscreen-Compatible, Size 7 / M, White

I haven't had a chance to use the gloves yet as my pc repair is scheduled for next week, but the items have arrived very quickly and in great condition, are comfortable and a good fit. I wear large size latex disposable gloves, and these fit just as well and feel durable.I purchased these for the extra peace of mind as I will be taking apart a desktop computer to transfer the SSD to another machine, and will be transferring all files and upgrading the OS from Windows 10 to Windows 11.I will be using an antistatic wrist strap (purchased elsewhere (I bought the ifixit pro tech toolkit)) and these gloves will be an additional layer of protection against ESD (electrostatic discharge) from damaging the computer components, as the computer is being used to run a multi-million pound business where the risks of disruption are greatly reduced with this additional purchase - it's bad enough having to backup everything manually as Windows hasn't got a simple process that will take care of everything with confidence and no grey areas (compared to their competition), so I don't need the extra fuss and hassle of troubleshooting something else hardware-related.In my learning course, I was taught using just a antistatic wrist strap to avoid ESD damage, but the gloves are an additional layer of protection that at a very small price (less than £20 for four pairs) are a no-brainer.There's no guarantees the gloves will be 100% effective, but for such a small outlay in addition to an antistatic wrist strap, why not improve your chances of everything hardware-related being ok?At least if nothing else, the gloves will help to prevent any natural oils from my hands and fingers from being transferred to any components, and will also offer myself some protection from cuts or scrapes on computer parts in any tight spaces - I'm a climber so scrape my hands enough as it is without needing to scrape them more from doing computer repairs and upgrades.Highly recommended for a small outlay for extra peace of mind and protection from a worst case scenario.The price and value for money on these gloves work well for my use case and needs.

Nice pair of gloves not too think as I use them for pc repairs and maintenance they do have a bit of grip too them very comfy on the hands and good value at the time of buying

Gloves seem to be made well enough and work as advertised.Even the XL size is a snug fit on me, so I would personally consider the XXL size if buying these again.

Li ho acquistati per poter assemblare un pc in totale sicurezza. I guanti sono di ottima fattura, non stringono, non rendono difficoltosa la presa dei componenti, ma allo stesso tempo garantiscono un elevata robustezza. Sono davvero soddisfatto dell'acquisto. Prima utilizzavo dei comuni guanti in lattice, ma devo dire che non è affatto la stessa cosa.

Scrivo questa recensione in quanto sono rimasto molto soddisfatto del mio acquisto. L'ho comprate per allor quando vado a cambiare qualche display dei telefoni e sono rimasto stupito in quanto hanno una buona vestibilità e in qualche punto funziona anche il touch (non sempre ma poco importa in quanto non le ho comprate per questo) Se hai da fare un lavoro del genere, te le consiglio.

These are great all-around comfortable hobby gloves. Not only are they ESD proof and can be used on a touch screen, but they are also quite heat and chemical proof. I wear them when working with my hotplate, which heats the work up to over 95°C for phone repair and soldering.
