A Game-Changer for Deep Cleaning – Dreame X30 Ultra Exceeds Expectations!
I recently purchased the Dreame X30 Ultra Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo, and I’m absolutely thrilled with its performance. From suction power to intelligent cleaning, this robot does it all and more.Suction Power: The 8300Pa suction is beyond impressive. It easily picks up dirt, dust, and pet hair even in hard-to-reach corners. My carpets have never looked so clean, and it handles hard floors just as well.Mop Feature: The mop function is a standout feature. The removable and liftable mop makes it versatile for both vacuuming and mopping without missing a beat. The self-cleaning and drying system is a lifesaver, ensuring the mop is hygienic after each use, and the 140°F water feature really boosts cleaning efficiency. I love that it also self-refills, meaning less hassle for me.Smart Carpet Cleaning: It’s smart enough to detect carpets and adjust accordingly, lifting the mop and boosting suction when needed. This is a perfect solution for homes with mixed flooring.Convenience: With mop extend and self-cleaning, I don’t have to worry about constantly emptying water tanks or scrubbing the mop. It makes daily cleaning virtually hands-free.Overall, the Dreame X30 Ultra has simplified my cleaning routine dramatically. It’s an investment, but worth every penny for the time and effort it saves. Highly recommend!

Best cleaning elf that works while I sleep!!!
I don't normally write reviews. We had our first robot vac probably 12 years ago. It did not work well at all. This Dreame Bot X30 Ultra is the best purchase we have made in a long time. Technology can be overwhelming to me sometimes but this truly was easy to set up and start using. Follow the Before Use instructions, download the app, connect device with wifi, allow it to fully charge and then hit the Mapping button on the phone app and let it map out your house!! My wood floors shine every morning after it runs while we sleep. I typically run it every other night and I let it vacuum first and then come back and mop. The mop does an amazing job. Most mop vacs have a large pad on the entire bottom that just goes over your floors. The Dreame has 2 spinning mop heads and I feel it does an amazing job. The first time it cleaned my floors, it returned to the base station, cleaned the mop heads, dumped the dirty water and reloaded with hot, fresh water, a total of 5 times to get my floors clean. The dirty water was about 7" high in the brown dirty water container. Now, the dirty water is only about 1-2" every time since it mops every other night. We have an Australian Shepherd puppy. She is about 9 months old and has long hair. She does not shed alot, but she does shed. I have shoulder length hair and it ends up everywhere on the floors. The Dreame gets up everything and has had no issues with dog or human hair getting wrapped around the roller head. I bought the roller that is made to work better for not clogging from hair. I should return it, as the standard roller has had zero problems with hairs staying on the brush roller.A side bonus is that it helps me keep the house picked up and things off the floor. I reviewed many vacs before purchasing the DreameBot. I love it and am so glad I bought it!!

What a dream! Update: PIECE OF JUNK!
Update: Not long after I submitted this review (about a month later) the vacuum started to fail. It started going in circles and going nowhere. Several times it stops saying it is blocked with nothing around it. It also gets lost ALOT. I am so SAD. I contacted the company and after over a month of back and forth it took forever for someone to believe me there was an issue. Finally, they sent me a label, but I had to find a box and packaging to ship it as they would not cover it and I had already got rid of the original packaging as I did not think I would be using it again. They had me send it ENTIRE thing back, kept it for over a month, and when got it back, it SMELLS LIKE TRASH, was scratched up, the lights no longer work, and it is doing the same thing. That was a complete waste of my time and MORE money. I have tried and tried to use it but get more mad each time and it still STINKS! I am so sorry that I ever wrote this review. DO NOT BUY THIS THING - YOU WILL REGRET IT!I have been using this vac/mop for almost a month now and I find it a time saver - which is exactly why I purchased it. I have a dog and was having to vacuum and mop all of the time. This now takes care of that and I have my time back. It does a great job. I did take some time to go thru the app, and set it up as I wanted (there are tons of options) - and some you will want on (IE: Carpet Boost, Auto -Add detergent, and Mop-Extend) and use the clean genius - this thing gets smarter and after a short amount of time, does a better and better job. It mapped out my home in 5 minutes and was very accurate. It is expensive - but I have so much time back it was well worth it!

3 weeks in: 5 stars
I’ve had the x30 for 3 weeks now and it’s exceeded my expectations:App: there’s definitely a learning curve to the app. It’s worth taking your time to figure it out. It can be a little confusing but once you get it, it has everything. There are some things that I would like the app to improve on, but hopefully they’ll continue to make improvements. It’s nothing that affects the performance. The robot itself: I have both tile and carpet, and it does well in learning the different surface areas. My tile floor has to get cleaned in a certain direction, and the app lets you set that which is awesome. There are a lot of cleaning options (quick clean vs deep clean etc) to fit your specific needs. They’re all pretty good depending on what you need that day, I never felt like I had to clean after it.It can’t quite get my whole house on a single charge, but that’s also because I customize all of my settings. I don’t use the generic clean setting, so I spend a lot of time setting exactly how I want it to clean, but that’s a choice.Overall, I got this to save time and it has definitely accomplished that. It’s very worth the money. I researched the x30 vs x40 and x50, and for the price, the x30 meets all my needs. The black design matches the rest of my home and it’s modern looking, so fits in nicely.Tip: take out the dirty water often because it will stink BAD.

The best floor cleaning 'bot as of 3/2024! Its imperfections are minor.
This may be my 14th floor cleaning robot. I've owned some from every other brand except RoboRock. The X30 trounces all that have come before it in terms of navigational prowess and cleaning chops, and I'm glad to keep it, but it has some rather striking imperfections that deny its claim to a 5th star in a review. I won't bore you with repetitions of its features - all too many other reviewers have stated those plainly. It's just that a buyer expects darn-near perfection for a $1700 'bot. Its main flaws that I've found so far are that (1) it barely swings out/uses that capable swinging mop pad on its right side, even when the user has set that feature to be used as much as possible in the App's Settings. While it does go after very vertically shallow openings reasonably well - the open spots underneath the edges of my speakers being an example - it almost completely ignores its chance to do the same swinging treatment of the floor underneath the front edge of the entertainment center (which has a considerably taller opening, but not tall enough for the whole 'bot to enter). That was baffling to me, since it demonstrated the ability to swing and back up in other locations, so it should be able to cover those areas perfectly with a firmware update. (2) It can miss cleaning large areas of open/unobstructed floor, such as in our fitness room, which has a large black rubber mat on the floor, and several full-length mirrors on the wall - a set of circumstances that made it lose its mind, spinning in circles in one spot for nearly two minutes, over and over again, although it was not striking any objects. (I imagine that has something to do with the laser being reflected back at it as it shined into the mirrors.) Then, apparently dazed, it left an approximate 2' x 3' area uncleaned there.Again, this is still the best I've ever owned, so thank you Dreame, and please keep on improving the firmware and releasing better and better models!

Big upgrade from my Roomba
Had a iRobot Roomba i7. Can't say I was unhappy with it, it picked up a lot of dirt and dust from my combination of hardwood, travertine, granite and rugs. Since most of my house is hard floors, I wanted to upgrade to a mopping robot vac. Did some research and decide to go with Dreame X30. I decided prior to it being released and most of the online reviews were not from people who paid for the product. Regardless, the X30 checked all the boxes and the previous Dreame products seemed to be well regarded. Only issues I read about were related to tech support. But I usually discount those reviews as only unhappy customers write those.Back to the actual product. Received the X30 via UPS. Much bigger box than I expected and the whole unit is larger than I expected. Setting it up was a breeze. I mean, seriously, could not have been easier. The app is fairly straightforward but does have A LOT more options than my Roomba did. After getting it plugged in a set up, I had it run a mapping cycle. Very fast map of the house created. I used to app to edit the room names, made some adjustments (very minor where it mapped outside of a glass sliding door). During the process, I noticed two things: 1) It didn't bump into walls. Roomba seemed to navigate based on bumping into everything and adjusting its path. The X30 got right up to the edge and didn't bump. Huge win for the X30. 2) The unit is so much quieter than the Roomba. With Roomba it seemed I couldn't run it if anyone was home. You can't talk on the phone or watch tv at a normal volume when the Roomba was close by. With the X30, it could be working right next to you and wouldn't bother you. Maybe it will, with time, as the contrast with the Roomba is a distant memory, it might seem loud. 3) It is able to clean the whole house in one charge. That was impossible with the Roomba. Roomba would recharge over and over again. Cleaning the house turned into a 5 hour process. Just when you think it is done, it starts up again. So all in all, the X30 probably cost twice as much than my Roomba when I originally bought it, but it is way more than twice the machine. One tip is to buy the extended warranty. Just for the piece of mind, if nothing else. I've read that if the unit fails, it is a long process to get a replacement. Easier to just spend a couple extra $$ and rest easy.Easy to recommend this product. I've also purchased the optional brush that takes care of hair tangles. I didn't mention that above as it is an extra purchase. But dog and daughter hair really clogged the Roomba and have no issues with that problem with the X30.

Awesome when it works, but it isn't built to last.
This robot is really good, cleans well and mops decently. The intelligent features and everything are just awesome. The only problem is that it isn't built to last and customer service is slow. I purchased this in February 2024 and it worked flawlessly until one day i noticed that it couldn't move. Turns out that the center wheel got a crack and it was falling out. This was 4 months of daily use. I contact Dreame and it seemed to be easy enough, but DO NOT THROW AWAY THE BOX as their instructions state it has to be shipped to them for repair in original box. Luckily i kept it, but i know some people will throw theirs out. Anyways, after they received my robot, contact went silent and i never got any updates on what was going on, after sending them daily emails they answered me and they do not know what is going on either. after a lot of complaining and time (2 months) they just decided to send me a brand new robot. Again worked flawlessly, but now the water will not drain and the sensor isn't working so there is a puddle of water after each use around the base station. Contacted customer service and is being sent to them again. This happened after 3 months of daily use. I fear that this is the expectation of the robot.

This bot is the best!
We’ve had roombas for years and had been through their scooba, which was an ok floor mop bot, and also through many models of Roomba vacuums. We got the shine bot mopping robot from ilife when the scooba was discontinued, and it worked ok. I like to have bots for both vacuuming and mopping. I was always on the lookout for better ones. This dreame X30 Ultra Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo is truly my dream bot. It vacuums and mops incredibly well and can do both in one pass, or you can program the functions separately. Our place is 1500SF, and we have finished concrete floors. This bot gets them so clean. I usually do the vacuum/mop combo every other day with just vacuuming on the days in between. (We have three dogs, one of whom sheds seasonally.) The ability to tailor the amount of suction and the degree of dampness used for the mopping is amazing. This bot needs such little maintenance, always getting around fine with no help and never getting stuck. The app is super easy to use. The robot vacuums and mops our whole place in couple of hours on one charge, going back to clean mopping pads and empty the vacuum bag. We’ve had the Dreamebot for a few months now, and I just fill up the clean water tank and empty the dirty water tank. I’ve changed the vacuum bag once, and that was also easy. Truly my dream bot.
