This is a "must have" book for all mechanical engineers and most other engineers.
This is a truly comprehensive engineering technical guide, so comprehensive that I think the font is now smaller than my original edition that I bought for myself fifty years ago as I started my career in nuclear industry consulting, which is mostly mechanical engineering, anyway. I bought this latest version for my grandson as he started his career in the multi-discipline arena of designing medical equipment.

No unit conversion tables? Otherwise very thorough.
While this reference is probably the most thorough general reference book out there in combined breadth and depth of mechanical engineering topics, I was surprised to find this book lacks any table of simple unit conversions. I went an looked at the 10th and 11th edition contents, and it appears prior editions of this reference text had included these two sections at the front, which are now absent: 1. Mathematical Tables and Measuring Units 2. Mathematics Prior editions were also over 1800 pages, where as this edition is less than 1500 pages. This reference books feels incomplete with a unit conversion table.

Handbool that has everything
This book is perfect and would have been more helpful during university than most of the text books required by the University. Highly recommend this book as a ready reference for Mechanical engineers.

A very good update on this famous book for mechanical engineers!
I like the newly updated and contemporary sections on the power generation chapter and transportation. I am not happy that the mathematics and electrical engineering (power engineering) chapters have been deleted, please bring these back!
