Great addition to our living room
This is a great addition to our home. We are always losing our remotes and this is remote free. It comes with a remote but you just don’t need it. It was very easy to set up and works great with our tv. It connected really fast and was a great addition to our living room

I just thought that i would update everyone on the Amazon Fire Tv Cube. I have had it awhile now and just recently started using it again after having it packed away. After testing and going through other tv devices, i am glad i went back to this one. I was really surprised. I don't know if the updates have anything to do with it, but the video quality and Dolby Vision was quite impressive, and just as good as those higher price tv streaming devices. I am also not using the wi-fi but it works great too, but i have it directly connected to ethernet and works just fine with my 4k streaming movies without any buffering or issues. I am glad i gave this device a second chance because now it is my main streaming device since it is way faster than my Smart tv streaming. That is the one feature i do like, this is fast when scrolling through the menu screens and the colors are quite impressive and stand out. So if you are reading my review and looking for a good streaming tv device with great video 4k Dolby Vision quality, then i would not look no further, i highly suggest this one. All of my apps that i like area also available with the Fire Cube. The other higher priced streaming devices did not. Very fast getting everything set up again too. I am just amazed again at how sharp and detailed the 4k and other apps come through. So needless to say, i will be staying with the Amazon Fire Cube from now on. Thanks for reading.

The fire Cube makes TV watching a lot more fun
This device is far better than the Fire TV stick is much faster the Channel's respond better the ability to customize menus is much easier but a sophisticated is is you would think it would have the ability to answer questions about itself and the help but it doesn't and Alexa doesn't know how to do it it gets confused quite easily and I have had some glitches with programs just not being able to be displayed because of incompatibility with the device I hope they fix it it's one of the patches in the future and hopefully they add some online help which should be available just being asking for help still a great product but it's a work in progress I think

Worked but failed. Amanzon is replacing. Update.
It functioned wonderfully for all of two days then stopped working. It was a refurbished Fire TV Cube 3. Sadly it had to be returned. Amazon is kindly sending a new one. The service is excellent. It is much appreciated.Update. The new one has functioned very well. Once it was set up it has been great and easy enough my brain damaged combat vet husband is able to view all he desires, which gives me good time to attend to other chores.The ethernet port has made a world of difference. It has been, thus far, a good investment.

Poor Documentation and a Possible Switcheroo
I bought this device to replace a 2021 Firestick 4K in the hopes of getting smoother video. We are most interested in watching MLB, the Detroit Tigers. I connected this new Fire Cube but quickly found out that the supplied batteries were DEAD! The Cube offered to synchronize with our old Firestick 4K. I was hoping to see the apps from the 4K but NO! Had no trouble finding and loading the FOX NATION app but could not find or otherwise load the MLB TV app to watch the Tigers. I get the impression that I can watch MLB somehow via Prime TV but could not get tonight's Tigers game. Searched everywhere for the MLB TV app. I must have searched for 2 hours but no luck. Some sources say that MLB is no longer available for the Fire TV Cube... so what good is it.? If I can't get this resolved in a few days, I'll return it.I am a 40 year veteran of the IT industry. I have been a licensed amateur radio operator since 1964. I have technical experience and aptitude. How do less technically experienced people deal with junk like this. I will update and maybe apologize if things change but right now, this product does not honor the Amazon name!
