Quiet and efficient
I’m impressed at how well it keeps the house clean and how quiet it’s while cleaning. Even at maximum suction power it’s still very quiet. I work from home and even during meetings I can have it running without disturbing anything. Having the self emptying bin is a must. I have two of these. One upstairs and one downstairs running everyday. Best thing ever. I have a cat and a dog, both shed as if their lives depend on it and I can’t see a single hair on the ground. Very happy.

Freegin Awesome (Boxer Dog Owner)!
So my first robot vacuum was an original iRobot Roomba many years ago prior to this auto-dump tech. I loved that thing and it still works to this day, however obviously its nearly daily use maintenance was too much for me to do each time. FFWD to now: I live alone with a boxer dog and am gone to work each day so my home's floor was just too much for me to be able to maintain. I decided to invest in a new tech auto-dump technology robotic vac, which would be perfect. Nutshell: after much research and my great experience with iRobot, I decided to order up their latest and greatest, and at "greatest" cost. Supply chain issues delayed delivery for a month, okay, got that. After a month, emailed company just to simply get an update. Did this four or so times over the following month. I received zero, absolutely zero responses, to my utter surprise. Placed two phone calls in to their customer service, and each time after on hold for 45 minutes, I gave up. I was willing to wait - but.... Their product originated in development from the USA, by higher ed students originally afterall. Wellll, suffice it to say I experienced the outsourcing effects of their company. To cancel, I ended up having to go to the lengths of changing my credit card number, updating auto-charges from other providers on that account and it was THEN that I FINALLY heard back from iRobot. Who would want to invest $1300 in a device with zero company customer service response after 4-6 or so tries? Not me. So saddened to see yet another great company to sail off our lands. So I decided to give Shark a try at half the price-I have some of their appliances which have been great. First delivery didn't go well, and that's because I didn't pay attention to the exact model AND the seller. It arrived, I set it up, and the battery would not take a charge. Turns out it was a "previous" model - obviously had sat on some shelf for who knows how long. Returned, and Amazon covered my back on this. More research showed me that that unit wasn't the current model. I decided to order this one which at this time is the CURRENT model, and sold THROUGH Amazon, fully returnable. I can not say enough about this little critter! It's just amazing! This robot vac has made a huge difference to my home. I don't really understand the other reviews' complaints about it's vacumming "noise" be it while operating or on its base in sucking out the bin. It's absolutely no louder than my wired Dyson unit while "sounding like an airplane taking off," for all of less than 10 seconds. To me, the freegin louder it is, the better it's cleaning out the robot! I launched it without even preemptively vacuuming my home- it worked hard and it took a few good cleaning out's to get it more leveled out and that's on me. I made a few changes to my home physically and reset its map by deleting the map (put my couch up on hockey pucks for access-it's about 3.5" tall). It's now re-learning my home and doing a fantastic job after several runs! I can add "high traffic 'rooms' " or areas layed over the top of overall rooms. Contrary to other reviews I've read, probably earlier ones, you can add rooms and name them to your use- I've overlayed "rooms" over larger "rooms." I love this thing! I can't believe it's only been a month of use - I've used the crap out of this thing. No issues and very adaptable. The only thing I look forward to is to be able to program more than one program. You can currently program one session- per day, per week, every each day of your choice, but of your selection of rooms identified including all of the rooms. Can't do an additional sub program of, say, "high traffic areas," which I've added as additional "rooms." I've read that is coming in future software updates. iOS WiFi connectivity is great. Map views when swiping give you more than one historical map of effected coverage. At half the price, "customer service" response remains to be seen (I've not had to), I would recommend this unit. Just make sure you look at current models, and not the older very similar looking models. As with any robotic vac, I'd recommend a home, or shop-use air compressor with regulated output to soften as needed for blowing out all as needed. I also found some great video reviews online that taught me a lot about this model line- very similar responses. By design, one can tell older vs newer units simply by how its dump cannister is designed. The map image I am attaching is one of its first runs of learning, and you can see it did a really good job of coverage for its first attempt. Smaller home in my case but numerous areas-after which I edited rooms, areas and overlayed high traffic areas as additional rooms for double-cleaning. It's been great once my home floor condistions leveled out and the robot can easily cover all areas. Not hard at all- give it a whirl! Hope this helps some. r-

A Game-Changer for Pet Owners – Highly Recommended!
I live in a two-bedroom apartment with my partner and our five animals – two dogs, two cats, and a bird. Naturally, our floors are constantly covered with fur, dust, and feathers. After spending a lot of time watching YouTube reviews and reading up on different robot vacuums, I decided to go with this one after seeing a demonstration of its power on carpet. Even though we have mostly hardwood floors with only a small area of carpet, the way it handled sand on carpet sold me. That was in February 2024, and now, in mid-February 2025, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. For the first 9 months, we had Rosie, our robot vacuum, on a cleaning schedule for 7am every day, except Sundays. At first, it was perfect. But one unfortunate night, one of our dogs had an accident in the living room. I didn’t even think to check the floor before starting Rosie’s cleaning cycle, and as you can imagine, she ended up spreading the mess all over before heading back to her dock. It took me over two hours to clean up, and Rosie needed about two months to dry out and get back to work. Lesson learned: never schedule cleaning when you have pets! Always inspect the area first before setting Rosie to work. After some time, I was able to clean Rosie thoroughly. I removed the battery and cleaned every part I could without disassembling her completely. With a lot of patience and the help of Q-tips, cleaner, hot water, and paper towels, I managed to give her a proper cleaning. After ensuring she was fully dry (five days, just to be sure), Rosie was back on her daily chores, and everything returned to normal. For the first nine months, I barely needed to pull out my traditional vacuum. I only used a small hand vac to clean behind doors, and within five minutes, I was done. It was so convenient to let Rosie handle the bulk of the work! In conclusion, I’m incredibly happy with this purchase. With five animals, a clean home can be a challenge, but Rosie has made it so much easier to keep everything tidy every day. It’s been worth every penny. If you have pets and need a reliable cleaning solution, I highly recommend this robot vacuum. It’s an investment that pays off in convenience and cleanliness!

Surprisingly great little vacuum!
I’ve had other off brand robot vacuums before that were a total waste of money. So when I wanted this one for Mother’s Day my husband was very skeptical he’d be wasting even more money. However, “Bessie” as I’ve named her, has impressed us completely! She totally keeps the floor clean in between weekly cleanings which is a huge help to me! We have locking vinyl plank throughout the house with a few throw rugs here and there. She does fine on our cow skin rug but does get stuck on my thick sheep skin rug and my daughters thick faux fur rug, so we make sure we pick those up. She pushes the bathroom rugs in the master bath around that don’t have good rubber backing, but my kids bathroom rugs she climbs over with ease. We also have a tiled area that our wood stove sits on and she climbs all over that with no issues. We have three cats and a dog and she does excellent picking up all the hair. I do have to clean out around her wheel where hair gets wound around it and the roller at the edges where it spins at the body attachment but only twice a month maybe. The suction is awesome, battery life is very good I would say, our main level is just over 2000 sq ft and she can go 2 hours without recharging. She can’t do the whole main level in two hours but after she docks and recharges a while, she gets right back at it and finishes up. She can’t go upstairs to the bonus room but that’s no bother. I love that she empties herself too and I don’t have to do it. She will get full and return to dock to empty out and go right back to where she left off. We live in Nevada and have a lot of sand tracked in the house. So between that and all the pet hair, and human hair I’m sure; she’s got her work cut out for her, but this little vacuum does the job right! And since she mapped the house, I can choose what area to send her to if there’s just one part that needs it specifically. I am highly impressed, and my husband is too! I highly recommend this Shark robot vacuum with self empty canister!

Not perfect but great!
I’ve owned several vacuum robots over the past two decades - one Roomba and three Eufys. I’ve seen the evolution of tech from random bounces to Wi-Fi linked apps and now I’ve purchased this self-emptying unit that maps my house. I’ve got two Eufys that work perfectly well - one upstairs, one downstairs - but they have one flaw: between two long-haired humans and two dogs, the hair wrap is insane. Like, I’ve got to clean the beater brushes every 2-3 runs at most (as the brushes age, it has to be done almost every run). Also, the dust bins have almost no room to spare when it’s finished, even if run daily - apparently my house is filthy. Ew. I purchased a Shark upright with no-wrap tech in 2021 and it has rarely had anything wrapped, and never more than a few strands. I finally gave in and purchased the robot version with fingers crossed the specialized beater brush works as well as it does on the upright. So far I’ve run it three times and here’s my impression: - app setup wasn’t 100% intuitive and I had a bit of trouble connecting it to my Wi-Fi but it wasn’t too difficult overall. - the “no wrap” is equal to the upright version. I have pulled one exceptionally long string out. It’s otherwise pristine! This right here is enough for me to save to purchase a second, to replace my other Eufy. Skipping cleaning hair wrap is a dream. - it is not shy about figuring out what furniture it can fit under and it hasn’t gotten stuck yet, even where my other bots have regularly gotten hung up. I have all of my cords out of the floor so I can’t speak to it’s intelligence there, but it climbs over furniture support bars with about as much grace as a robot can muster. - the self-empty feature is super convenient and the robot has emptied itself mid-run each time I’ve run it (about 600sqft, mostly carpet). I’m not worried about it losing suction or overfilling/erroring out. - the self-empty function didn’t quite fully empty the dirt cup on the robot when I checked but it was pretty close. I will keep an eye on this to see if it progresses to be worse (or if it improves!). - the dust cup on the dock makes it super easy to view debris level that has been emptied. I seriously doubt it will be anywhere close to the 45 days advertised to fill (in fact, I will be surprised if it makes it more than 15 runs). - the self-empty function is super loud and the robot itself is louder than I expected. Neither are going to wake your neighbors but if you’re easily startled or a light sleeper, I would be mindful about when you choose to run it. I’m used to running robots at night after we go to bed but this one is definitely daytime only. - the boundary strips work well - no issues with the staircase - the mapping function seems competent but it’s not something I really care for. The integrated camera for mapping isn’t something I am super comfortable with. Overall, this is pricey but if it continues to function as it has so far, I will be very pleased with my investment. I did purchase the Asurion insurance in case this has issues down the line since it seems like there are a lot of parts that could break and render it useless.
