the picture of product show 400mah on pack -this is what i am replacing, but in your product info it says 600mah, please can you state which power?

I received 600mah. Unfortunately, I didn't notice it said 600 in the description until I checked on receipt.

do they come pre charged

Yes they come fully charged. I hope this helps.

Your add says - Suitable for Garden Solar Lights - Does this mean they are to be charged by the sun. or an electric charger?

The batteries are manufactured for use in Garden Solar Lights. The Solar Panel on the lights will charge the batteries during daylight hours.

What is the difference if I used 600 mAh and not 400 mAh as recommended rechargeable batteries on my garden lights?

sorry not able to help as my lights were faulty
