Uni-Ball Impact Gel Pen

Great pen! Writes smoothly and without smudging!

Some folks appreciate a mark that stands out from the rest, and with that, I am very particular about my writing instruments. Nothing beats a 1mm gel pen, and no pen lays it down like the Uniball Impact 207. I prefer retractable, but the capped version performs just as well. The styling of the pen is perfect. I first discovered this product back in 2012 and have been using it since. I can only hope that Uniball sticks with a proven winner rather than trying to fix what isn't broken. They may be more expensive than lesser pens, but they make an impression and are well worth the investment.

The juiciest, inkiest flow with such ease to write. And the barrel is perfect for control. I wrote for 11 hours without any hand cramp and the ink just kept flowing. The smear is slight but that’s because I bought the 1.0mm. Writes so smooth and so affordable.

They write consistently from the first stroke to the last, which is all I really ask of a pen.Grip is comfortable, they don’t feel cheap, and they’re great for notes, signing documents, or anyone who hates faint, scratchy writing. No smudging issues so far, either.Simple verdict: bold, smooth, reliable. These are very, very good pens—and I’ll absolutely buy them again.

I have used these pens since they were introduced and I still love them. I use the 1.0 mm wide tip in vivid blue ink for signatures and the effect is glorious. The ink flows so smoothly that you'll look for an excuse to write something, and it dries to non-smudge viscosity in well less than a minute, which is about as quickly as any gel ink in a wide line could be expected to dry. The retractable design automatically retracts whenever I clip a pen into my shirt pocket, so I never have to worry about an ink stain on my shirt.My most recent shipment was from PLEXSUPPLY, and it arrived on time. The box had obviously been opened and resealed with packing tape. All of the pens inside appeared to be new, and the ink cartridges still had their pop-off rubber tips. However, none of the pens were completely assembled. Weird, but not a problem at all. Every part was inside, and it just took a few seconds to assemble each one. Ah, the mysteries of modern life.Trust me. This is a great pen.
