Are these the large size?

Large Size = 2 pieces are 60 calories Small Size = 3 pieces are 60 calories The fireballs that come in the sealed rigid plastic container labelled "240 pieces ATOMIC FireBall" are the larger size. Other sellers can buy the fireballs in very large bulk boxes and repackage them in their own bags of varying count/size. This is a common practice in candy sales. Think of all the hanging bags of small amounts of candy at your local Walgreens, star mints, orange slices, etc. There is an easy way to determine if the product is a knock-off. The official wording is "ATOMIC FireBall". If you see "Fire Balls", question the authenticity.

These left a very bad aftertaste in my mouth - kind of like artificial sugar. Anyone else have this problem?

These are gross!! these are not the real ones and they do leave an aftertaste. I didn’t even leave it in my mouth a minute I could tell. They’re not the real hot Ferrara fireballs. The ingredient say contains bio engineered food ingredients really! I did get the real ones maybe four months ago from Amazon. The last two orders I tried were these awful ones. I don’t know what they’re doing.

You can put these in hot chocolate (very hot temp) and they will melt almost all the way. The taste that they give in a cup of hot chocolate is amazing and I do recommend at least 3 per cup Enjoy!!!

Are these hard to the core or soft in the middle? A review 11/16 says they ARE hard to the core but another more recent review from 6/17 says NO!!
