Logitech G Astro A30 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Headset, Xbox - Blue

My only two gripes are: 1. The sleep mode is super buggy. Would prefer it to just turn off the device. When it goes back on it plays no sound, so I have to basically turn it off and on again. 2. The mic quality is not that good. The internal one is better, but if you really need to use the boom mic, it's somewhat bad. The noise suppression is good, but you need to put it really far away from your mouth or the audio will be really hideous. Don't like how my voice sounds on this. That being said, audio quality and volume are awesome. The ability to use BT and 2.4Ghz connections at the same time so I can simultaneously hear audio from my phone and laptop is excellent and the main reason I think that someone would buy this. I think the Mandalorian edition is way prettier than the blue and white stock ones. Those look cheaper to me. Purchased it used like new and I charge it every three or four days while using it the whole day. The clamping is a bit strong, but the cushions make it really comfortable to wear it for hours. It cuts out if I leave the room where I have my devices, so keep that in mind if range is something you care about. It's and odd choice to make it so you can only configure it using a phone app. I don't mind, but they should've integrated this to the Logitech GHUB app. Finally, would love to purchase custom plates but I have looked for them everywhere and I don't think they exist at all.

If you’re thinking about buying these, do yourself a favor and don’t. After researching gaming headsets for a little over a month, I’ve realized there isn’t a SINGLE company that puts out a decent product, and Logitech/Astro is no exception. Most gaming headsets have countless negative reviews, and you will not find one where people can confidently say, “This is a great headset or no issues and great value for $300.” I finally settled on the A30s because every headset I looked at had complaints, so I figured I’d just have to pick one and hope for the best. I assumed people might just be overly critical, but I was wrong. These A30s are actual junk… First off, I’m already experiencing major issue not even a week in. The USB transmitter constantly loses connection. I specifically bought these for Xbox (as advertised on the box), but it randomly detects itself as being connected to PlayStation or PC. This is despite the USB being directly plugged into my Xbox, which shows how bad the hardware is. Another annoyance is that, to use the headset wirelessly with the mixer/controller for volume and channels, you need to connect it to your phone via Bluetooth. This is ridiculous. If you set the headset down and walk away, you have to remember to disconnect it from your phone. There’s nothing better than getting a phone call blasting in your ear while gaming…. On top of that, I’ve experienced the common issue where these things just won’t turn off. Holding the power button does nothing. To turn them off, you have to unplug the USB transmitter, reconnect it three or four times, and then re-pair them, just to power them off. If you plan on using these wired, don’t bother. The audio quality is terrible, and the 3.5mm cable it comes with seems faulty (which maybe why the audio is so bad wired) I constantly have to twist the cable to get the audio to come through correctly. You’d think $300 would get you a solid pair of gaming headphones, but you’d be wrong. Do yourself a favor and avoid these. They’re nothing but problems. I’d probably go with the Steel Series Novas if I could go back in time..

Ugh I hate these things but my son loves them!! The cancel outside noise out. He doesn’t even know he’s talking loud bc he can’t hear himself. The battery life is awesome. They don’t feel cheap at all and the weight is good

So let me begin by saying that this gaming headset is phenomenal. I’m coming from using old turtle beach headsets to the A30s and omg the sound quality is excellent. I’ve used them for COD so far but I’m 100% sure that these will deliver not matter what I play. Footsteps are loud but not too bass heavy and the sound it’s very much immersive. The build off the headphones is great and they are comfortable. I gamed all night with zero ear fatigue, the mic is not the best but it’s definitely not the worst. I love being able to switch from Xbox mode to pc, I work from home so using them for work is awesome. The Bluetooth connectivity is great also. Playing games and listening to music simultaneously is cool. Honestly overall these headsets were a great buy and I’m happy as hell I got them. They look great sound and sound great. If you’re looking to buy a headset that has general wireless connectivity along with Bluetooth these are the way to go. These will not disappoint

I wanted to really love these headphones & I think they are good for the price you pay. I wanted white headphones for my white setup look that I have going on. They work okay for the most part. The issues I have with mine are - The sound will cut out randomly for no apparent reason. I will be in the middle of a game or playing a video & the audio cuts out for some reason. It’s easily fixed by just turning them back on but it dosent make much sense as to why they cut out especially when they are fully charged. It does not happen every time I use them but often enough. The Bluetooth range is not far at all. It is about 15/20 feet from my laptop to the kitchen. I live in a small apartment & the sound does not carry from far away at all. I wish the range was more like the AirPod quality but again, you get what you pay for. Other than those two things I really enjoy these headphones. The sound quality is great & sound proof is pretty awesome. Also the microphone works really great for me as well, I have had no issues with it so far & my partner was able to understand what I was saying perfectly. I love that you can detach it as well so I don’t have it in my way if I don’t want it there. The color is perfect & it’s comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

Had this for a little over a year now and honestly? It wasnt that bad when I first got it. But then the issues started showing when sometimes I turned it on with my xbox and it wouldn't connect, and needed the usb connector to be unplugged and replugged back in. That wasnt that big of a deal, just a bit annoying. Then the other issues of the volume suddenly jutting up to max whenever I have two devices paired at once and needing to be adjusted again, or the random stalled state it can be in where its just unable to be turned off and you cant do anything with it (not even listen to anything, its completely unusable) and since its stuck on you have to wait until either the battery dies or it shuts off on its own.

The headset itself is beautiful. My problem is issues connecting to my pc. I have to manually connect this headset every time I log into my computer. Also, people have issues hearing me via the boom and built in microphone. Sound quality is great but having to mess with this headset constantly to get it to work just kills the enjoyment for me. I hate having to use a mobile app to mess with it's features so that's another issue. After an hour or so the headset will start to become uncomfortable on my head but thats just a personal complaint. I "upgraded" from A20s and honestly it really feels like a step down for convenience. The wireless range is pretty trash. Overall I tend to regret purchasing these due to the constant errors with syncing.

What can I say but very nice. Works well although had a bet of trouble figuring out how it was to work. As I would have liked to see instruction on how to hook it up to devices. My girlfriend is a gamer and loves this as she can hear her game and everything going on around her. It magnetify sounds so good she can hear me in the next room when I am talking so beware guys LOL. She loves being able to talk on her phone and play her games at the same time. And the person on the phone will not even know you are gaming. Comes with a boom mic but it is not needed as headset mic works so well. WORTH THE MONEY.

السماعة ك صوت زينه لكن المايك حقها مب زين فيه سماعات بنفس سعرها او ارخص مايكاتها احسن و مالها برنامج على الكمبيوتر بس على الجوال و واجهتني مشكلة بعد ٣ شهور استخدام السماعة مب راضيا تطفي و غير كذا المايك مرات احتاج اطفي السماعة و اشغلها كذا مره عشان يشتغل و من ناحية الراحة مب مره مريحة بتحس فيها و الوسادات جلد فا بتحر اذنك و مامعها سلك شاحن يعني الشي الوحيد الزين فيها انها تشتغل على ثلاث منصات بنفس الوقت و صوتها زين و هذي الميزتين فيه سماعات ثانية توفرها

Stay away from this headset. IT IS NOT PLUG AND PLAY. You will need a degree in computer science and 10+ years of IT troubleshooting to figure out how to solve the long list of issues that come up nonstop like PC refusing to recognize headset with usb dongle, maybe if it does decide to recognize it after a pc restart now the mic won't be recognized or work. Use that money on anything not Astro or Logitech headset because there was no QA done with this premium priced product.

I have a fairly large head and ears and have tried numerous different brands. These are by far the most comfortable. My ears don't touch and this is great. They sound amazing and the battery lasts a very long time. I get almost a full week out of the charge. There is one pretty big problem and I have no idea why they don't come out with a simple firmware update to fix it. The volume will out of nowhere go all the way to the max. Regardless of where you set it. It's not just a little loud either. These things put out! I am worried they are going to hurt me one day. This happens once a week. They really need to support their existing product and fix this issue asap. It's in their best interest, I honestly can't believe they haven't done anything about this. It's absolutely crazy to me. Do they care about customer feedback? I haven't tried a hardwired wired cable yet to see if it has the same issue. I bought a 3.5 mm cable with a volume dial so worst case scenario it won't max out beyond said dials setting. I shouldn't have to do this though! These are wireless headphones! Fix it Logitech! If they fix I will have no problem giving 5 stars.

Sound quality is pretty OK. I would say 6/10, which is in line with other options for this price. This headphones fail at basic actions : Half of the time you cannot power them off. Just need to wait to batterie tom drain Sometimes, mic volume will randomly drop to 0. The “Joystick” gets stuck and way too sensible. Sometimes if you go too fast it will “end” your current call. Mute button takes forever to activate deactivate.
