Not right for book ends
A very nice item but too light to act as book ends, so have kept them as an ornament

They are very attractive. Light in weight as others mentioned and somewhat on the smallish side for bookends. The quality is excellent. They actually do hold up books quite well and look really good on my bookshelf. At first I was going to return them thinking they are too small, but once I gave them a try, I fell in love. They look sooooo cute on the shelf. Make me smile every time I see them.
