Psych: The Complete Collection

This is how a complete series Blu-ray set should be done. The series looks fantastic, it doesn’t have any of the compression artefacts that are present on the streaming versions available. It’s also jam packed with special features. Almost every episode has an audio commentary with members of the cast and crew discussing the episode as it plays. That sort of stuff might not be for everyone but for the people who love that it’s awesome how much is crammed into the set. If you haven’t seen the series then I’d really recommend it. It’s probably one of the most fun procedurals out there and the performances are top notch. Great show.

Seems expensive but with 8 seasons a 3 films it’s fair enough. Plus loads of extras. A consistently funny series.

If anyone else is ordering the blu ray set from the UK and is a bit worried about the transit, I can say for me at least it was absolutely fine. I paid the extra tenner for quicker delivery and it arrived in 5 days including the weekend. It arrived in fine condition with no dings or damage and works on my standard UK players without issue. The picture quality is very solid too. There's a fair amount of grain to be seen in the image but that's kinda the price to be paid especially with some of these older TV ports to HD. I honestly don't mind a bit of film grain and would prefer it to the image being overly treated with digital denoising, things can end up being a bit waxy and weird looking. The sound mix is also fine and to be expected for one of these styles of show. I also didn't have any issues with any missing seasons like I've seen in some of the other reviews. All in all, if you're in the UK and were having second thoughts about getting this, I'd say go for it, it's better than the standard DVD version and includes the movies which the DVD box doesn't. The shipping was also absolutely fine and the discs work fine on UK players.

love Psych and i'm so happy to finally have my own collection, i've seen some people complain about getting the wrong blu-rays sent to them but luckily i got all the right ones and the package wasn't damaged, the only thing i can really complain about is the slow shipping, took several weeks to get here and they used Asendia which i had never heard of and they were not very transparant, didn't tell me about where the package was and when contacted didn't reply, they didn't even say that they had transferred it to Postnord, luckily i check postnord semi regularly so i saw it. point is good product, only problem is the delivery

Playing great on my Australian Blu-Ray player, and super hyped to not only have a better quality version of the deities, but to finally have a physical copy of the 3 movies.

The Blu ray works on region B Blu-ray players. Tested in Australia, on a region locked Sony Blu ray player

A couple of the disc cases were slightly cracked, not enough to warrant a return but still a bit annoying. Can’t say whether it was from shipping or a factory defect. Still, I’m enjoying the commentary on these. Also, I’m pretty sure the disc for the movies is the same as the standalone version.
