Perfect left handle + rod replacement for Sloan Flushmate model 501-B . The plastic thread had broken on the original handle. Very simple to replace with just four screws.

I had my original handle and lever for 15 years . The wire had to be bent back into position every so often over the years. But recently it was being bent once a day and I ordered this replacement. The wire is literally twice the thickness and all new hardware was included. It took me about 10 minutes to install. Handle was also great because old one fell apart while disassembling! This is a much heavier duty wire lever than provided in the original. Plumber advised that flush mate unit needed to be replaced, but on inspection I found that the old lever flexed too easily after years of use. Replacing it with this item for a few 10s of dollars fixed the problem without spending the 100s of dollars I would have spent if I'd followed the plumber's advice

does not fit. I have some older original american standard handle assemblies that fit perfectly.I am going to be returning these.
