0.7mm Clear Bead N Stretch

I bought this elastic cord for my 4 year old who recently got into beading. All the other strings we used for making things would frustrate her with fraying or bending or just being plain difficult for her to bead. This elastic is perfect for beading small beads. It stretches well and easily knots. It's thick and strong. It's great quality for the price, and made in the US! It'll last us for many projects. Definitely recommended.

Best cord, clear stretchy

It’s sturdy, easy to tie a knot, it’s thick and should function well enough to never come apart on you. I use this to make kandi bracelets with, but anyone can use it for their fun craft ideas (ex: jewelry making, kandi bracelets etc.)

Good stuff. Nice and strong. Fits through most beads. Tying it and getting the knot to hold takes a little effort. Best to add a dab of super glue to the knot and be sure it's pulled really tight.

Before this purchase, I had bought elastic cord that was a bit too thick. This works fine and the price was affordable.

I like this stretch cord, and it's one of two 0.7 mm products I've used. So far, nothing I've made has broken, and it's a nice middle of the road size between the ultra thin 0.5 mm and the much thicker 0.8 mm or the 1mm. So this size is my favorite, and since I make a lot of stretch bracelets for other people, I need a product that I trust. Tying the 0.7 & 0 8mm is not fun, (I generally find that 3 or 4 knots are most reliable). So if you want enough knots to make something really break-proof, then the final knot has to be hidden inside of beads with slightly bigger openings, or secured under crimp covers. Otherwise, the end product looks pretty tacky. In general, though, this is my favorite overall elastic beading cord.

I really like this string. I specifically bought it to fix my Tasbih that broke with the other weak material of string. This string is strong and stretchy and has a good material that doesn't wear-out from sliding the beads as before. My Tasbih never broke from using this string, but the original string that I had replaced twice broke both times just after about a little over a week's use.

Comes untied really fast. Won’t hold a knot. I made (tried to make) stretch bracelets with seed beads and other beads but they came apart pronto quick. I made the usual surgeon’s knot and pulled it right but five minutes later we had beads everywhere. I guess 0.7 in this brand is too thick and stretchy to tie. Dunno what else to do with it. It’s not very useful for making stretch bracelets.
