Fantastically violent, yet engaging storyline!
I’ve recently gotten back into Transformers after over a decade and wanted to dive into the comics. After hearing much praise of this story, I wanted to check it out. The end result: HOLY CRAP! This story is incredible and very engaging so far. This volume packs so much of a punch that I was entirely expecting. The brutality is insane where I felt so many emotions while reading it through. Sadness, heartbreak, anger, anguish all wrapped into one. The art truly shines and comes to life through every page. This volume has already highlighted why Optimus Prime has always been one of my favorite characters. So much respect, compassion, nobleness. So many layers and good ideologies presented through this volume alone. The Decepticons are a force to be reckoned with - Starscream being new leader after the fall of Megatron and decides to go on a killing spree. Just crazy, R rated material and it works very well. I will definitely continue reading this storyline! As a renewed Transformers fan, this is a hard recommendation! Certainly has lived up to the hype.

The Transformers not so PG-13 kind
Transformers as I never thought I'd like. I'm a 80s baby so the kids only version is what all I knew and is my definitive version of the series. BayFormers they're meh mostly but don't hate them because again I'm a 80s baby Ive seen and know the lore of series so I know it wouldn't be what I already know completely plus it's geared towards those who are familiar with the franchise and get a new generation of fans. This comic flips the series on its head with a more hard core dark and serious tone definitely not for kids and I'm all for it so I'm going to read every issue of this there is.

Excellent story but the physical graphic novel could be better
5/5 writing and art. Already one of the best transformers comics ever. I wish the physical graphic novel had at least the covers and some sketch/preliminary art pages in the back. Hopefully they come in a future hardcover or omnibus version.

Parfaite introduction...

G1 again
I thought this was a great re-telling of the G1 universe earth arc. The art is impeccable. Would make a great Netflix series as long as they don’t skimp out on production costs

Interesting read, gives a new perspective in terms of G1
The detail is amazing and is very well fit in the panels. It has a different look from the G1 series perspective, but has that original style look from the series. As someone whose childhood has been Transformers (and I’m only 11) this was a very fun experience. The book was overall, an interesting read that brought together the simple elements of G1, combined it with the details the author gave and created a master piece. Kinda sad about Bumblebee’s death :( . But still beautiful book,
