ZEFAL SPY 15 CYCLE MIRROR

Definitely better on the end of the handlebar. Good reflective surface. I thought it would be in the way at the end of the handlebar so at first I tried mounting it to the left of my shifter underneath the bars. It was out of the way there and worked OK, but obviously can't see through my body so could only see cars that were pretty close already. After moving it to the end of the handlebar grip I had a clear view of the road behind me and my grips are long enough that there was still room for my hand. I adjusted it so that I could just see my leg/body in the edge of the mirror and tried to get the curb lining up with the widest part of the mirror (on flat ground) and this seemed to give me the best view behind. In a 3 hour ride I did knock the mirror a couple of times by accident when putting my hand back on the grip and needed to re-adjust it up/down. The left right adjustment was a bit tighter so I didn't need to redo that. It looks like it might be possible to tighten the up down adjustment too but I didn't try that yet. I think next time I am buying a mirror I will just cut a hole in the end of my grips and get one of the Zefal bar end mirrors, but I am very happy with this one for now.

Nice mirror well made. But hard to get it to stay in place , as any vibration makes it move .

I was 50/50 chosing this, but it works for me. I have it at the front if frame, and look back between by legs. It’s good enough to spot cars and other cyclists… not crystal clear but does the job.. fiddle with it to find the location that works for you No insight big mirror on handle bars

As others have said it's pretty small but for me the real problem is the strap. Try as I might I just can't secure it tightly to the handlebars. It only takes a slight bump in the road for it to move out of position meaning I can't really trust it to give me a safe reliable view of the road.

It is a very good mirror. I have tried a few and this is the best of the ‘strap on’ type. Good value, delivered quickly and fitted in seconds.

Nice piece, easy to fit and use, and it provides a good view.

Although it seems to be well made, it is very small and can't be mounted where it allows a decent view behind. I tried it on the handlebars and on the front forks, but just got a close up view of my arm or my leg. Not recommended.

Provide good visibility and occupy less space

Ho acquistato questo specchietto per poterlo montare sulla mia Ebike.Cercavo qualcosa che non alterasse troppo l’estetica della mia bici e devo dire che ho trovato quello che cercavo.Ho montato lo specchietto girandolo verso il basso e devo dire che sta’ molto bene.Ottimo prodotto comunque ad un buon prezzo,

Pas trop gros ni trop petit. Tient bien en place. Garde sa position même sur chemin accidenté.

J'avais des doutes au vu de sa petite taille quant à la visibilité offerte par ce mini rétroviseur qui au final fait parfaitement le job. Pour cela il faut le monter le plus à gauche possible du guidon (sinon on se voit dedans). Il est facile à fixer sur différents diamètres avec sa sangle crantée en caoutchouc élastique qui ne bouge plus une fois en place, même en roulant sur terrain accidenté l'image reste stable. Le gros plus est que sa rotule permet de l'orienter dans des directions multiples. Au final, en plus d'une bonne solidité, il est vraiment discret sur mon VTT et s'avère maintenant indispensable pour ma sécurité, même si l'image est petite elle est lisible et on voit les véhicules en approche au loin, plus besoin de se retourner, je recommande.
