Looks great. True to size. Several closures plus a stand that is optional. Can mount on the wall as well. Looks durable and holds lots of items. I used mine for shark teeth (see picture). This is a great product for displaying or showcasing items you’re proud of!

I bought this for an old canvas my father gave to my mother. It's about 1/4 inch thick, and aged... so it's not perfectly flat. It says 16x20 and fits perfectly. The back piece has little metal flaps you flip open then closed again. It has a white material background worth cute pins for pinning objects to it. Since I'm not using it like a traditional shadow box, I just put the canvas in front of the backer... perfect! I don't mind that the front is plexiglass. The only issue I had is the film covering the plexiglass is hard to remove at the edges. If you press the plexiglass away from the frame while removing it then it comes out perfectly clean. Honestly I think this looks great! I would buy again. This was very easy to use, mounts easily worth 2 nails or packs (but I always run string between those 2 areas to make hanging by just one nail easier.

I purchased this to display my morpho and I chose the 8x8 with the foam backing. This is almost perfect, if only it came with a window (the plexiglass) that was completely sealed (it shifts a bit). I went ahead and ordered some clear sealant to seal the spaces around the edge of the window as well as the spaces in the back of the frame, so I’ll try to remember to update my photos once I do that. I did have a tiny bit of trouble removing the protective film on the plexiglass (it’s on the front and back) but with some patience it came off in one piece. All in all though I think this is a decent shadow box for the price point. 😊 P.s. I think the fogginess and scratching some reviewers might be referring to is from the film that’s still on the plexiglass. Be sure to remove that film from BOTH the front and back. Might be a little tricky to find a free lifted edge to pull up on but it should be easier to pull off in one piece once you find it (kind of like a sticker).

I used this as a shadow box for the Stray Kids DominATE world tour concert at Citi Field and the freebies I got! (I was lucky enough to get front row) and it's great-ish, the pins that it comes with are not at all stable, and kept bending, and it pokes through to the very back of the board, and the board does not take well to any other pins (As you can see on the backboard). It's beautiful and very minimal, but I just wish the backing was better, although I expected some faults considering the price.

The short story is that this frame was an inexpensive replacement for a frame I broke the glass in. It is as described, but be aware that it has plexiglass, not real glass. I didn’t, but it was my fault for not looking at the description more closely. The plexiglass has a scratch or scuff mark on it that I can’t get off, but I didn’t take off a star since I’m not sure if it was there when it arrived or if I did it when cleaning as I assembled my display. It’s not terribly noticeable, but if I had it to do over, I would probably spend a little more to get glass.

The shadow box is the perfect size for me to display my dads and my medals.
