This thing rocks! I have to air dry a ton of my clothes and brush out rugs and this guy has made it so easy (plus it looks SO clean). It has a REALLY long wire so you can hang all the way across a backyard (that’s what I did) and it’s REALLY strong, and when you’re done you can just retract it. I eventually broke mine because I tested the limit and put something INSANELY heavy on it, but I will be getting another one bc it’s the strongest I could find and I have no qualms. Also, really easy to install (but it has to be in a pretty permanent spot)

The black component piece that holds the line feels a bit flimsy but so far its working. I did have a problem with switching the clip underneath over to hold the line taught, and had to use more than a little force to do so. The line itself is durable and holding up fine but its early days yet

Poor. Doesn't retract at all. You have to hand real it back in. Installation is easy. Quality is low, cheap plastic. Ok for the money I guess, but having to wind it back in is highly annoying and not what we expected. Its can hold decent amount of weight but does not stay straight lined like it claims. Tension is weak after 6 or so shirts. You can purchase one of better quality at same price point that does what it actually claims. Keep looking.

I dont have anywhere to hang dry in my house and this little set up actually installed easy and holds the weight more then I expected I use it way more then I thought I would looks great and hides away if you dont need it love it

Worked well for about a year so far in my rv for extra room to dry cloths I do not put in dryer. Does not sag much even filled with wet cloths over a 9 foot span.

Was excited about this retractable clothesline and we took a lot of care in hanging it exactly as described, however the locking mechanism is finicky and it does sag. I question the ability to hold 40 lbs of weight as well. I am using it to dry clothes--mostly tops, like 6 at a time. It can't handle pants/jeans.

Muy buen sistema de tendido de ropa que es resistente, elegante y con excelente presentación. Tiene buen sistema para dejar tenso el cordón y bien fijo. Su mecanismo es bastante sencillo y la ropa se sostiene perfectamente.

Ist praktisch eigentlich nur für sehr leichte und kleine Wäschestücke. Das Material der Gehäuse ist nicht sehr stabil, alles Plastik, ich vermute, es gibt nur eine kurze Lebensdauer. Ich würde es nicht wieder kaufen.

1st one was perfect,2nd one plastic lock to hold to wall bracket was broken. Still a great product.

Well wall mounted with glue without nails. Make sure to keep 72 hours. Great for insides like big rooms. Best use for light weighted clothes.

Erstmal sei gesagt, dass ich seit Langem nach einer Lösung suchte, die nicht den Wäscheleinen der 50-70er Jahre entspricht, und dass man leicht entfernen kann, sowie nicht die ganze Wand durchbohren muss (siehe die Auszieh-/klappbaren Wandhalterungen eines Marktführers). An zwei Stellen im Durchmesser von nicht einmal 10 cm ein paar Löcher gebohrt, und die beiden Teile halten absolut fest. Die Stahlseil-Leine lässt sich leicht ausziehen und in der Aufnahme simpel einhängen. Das Feststellrad um die Leine zu spannen funktioniert leichtgängig und hat klar definierte Raster, die man spürt. Bei normaler Wäsche/Kleidung hält der Feststellmechanismus ohne Probleme und das Seil hängt nicht durch. Bei schwerer Bettwäsche kommt der Feststellmechanismus unter Druck, hält aber noch besser als bei einer klassischen Kunststoff-Wäscheleine, die da durchhängen würde. Falls es doch zu schwer werden würde, gibt der Feststellmechanismus nach um nicht kaputt zu gehen. Dann weiß man, dass man es übertrieben hat. Für mich ist es einfach das perfekte Produkt um die klassischen "jetzt bekomme ich die Jeans nicht mehr auf den Wäscheständer" -Teile doch noch gut zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Oder auch für Decken und dergleichen, die den halben bis ganzen Wäscheständer in Beschlag nehmen würden. Daher absolute Kaufempfehlung!
