A Little is MORE than enough
I used it with my London Broil because it always needs help. I did put too much and it turned out too sweet BUT I got the flavor and tenderness I want.

Not a Fan!
The only good thing is the packaging. First, arrived really runny so I put it into the fridge to set up overnight. The next morning, it looked like jam again and the consistancy was nice. Since it had liquified so much, I mixed it all back up before trying it. The smell was not as expected and I could quite put my finger on what it smelled like. There are fairly good sized chunks of apple but no obvious signs of bacon. The coloring is similar to an apple jelly. The flavor is heavily bourbon and shallot. I didnt taste and maple or bacon. Take a bite of an onion and a shot a bourbon and that's what you're working with. I had my husband try it because, different strokes for different folks, ya know - and, he loves bourbon and refused to swallow. He said, "It's like cheap bourbon, an herb I cant figure out and, ugh, no, I dont like it. Don't eat anymore of that." It's so not good that my husband didn't even want me to take another bite. I gave it 2 stars cause maybe I just got a bad batch. It was packaged really well though. Also, it's food so I dont think I can return it so I'm out a shocking amount of money for a jam I refuse to consume. Paying this much for a good jam would've been okay though.

Everything tastes better with bacon and bourbon
Stonewall Kitchen’s Bourbon Bacon Jam, the salt and savory fat of cured bacon cut straight through the sweet, vanilla-and-caramel notes of aged bourbon, while slow-simmered onions and brown sugar tie the entire spread together into a rich, umami glaze.

I can taste the Bourbon
I bought several onion/bacon/garlic type jams recently. This was one of them. I could taste the bourbon, but I couldn't really taste the bacon. Overall the jam just tasted like "sweet" but I was hoping for more bacon flavor... maybe salty and sweet, rather than just sweet.

Taste awful
Not sure if it taste like paint or break fluid, awful!! I made my own bourbon jam mix, which turned out delicious. Don’t buy this item it has clumps, not smooth at all for use on a charcuterie board. Mine went to the trash!

Unique & delicious flavor!
Bought this for myself & also small gift baskets, & because they dropped the price! It's absolutely scrumptious!! It's chunky in texture, would be super on top of a cream cheese covered cracker. It has a little kick to it, not hot like pepper jelly but zesty...the label says its a bite of the bourbon taste. Haven't put it yet on a burger, but couldn't imagine it would be bad! Between the onions, scallions & other ingredients It would be yummy.
