Stops nosebleed in minutes

I always have a pack of these in the cupboard. I need them very rarely but when I do, I do! For a nosebleed, once the initial flow has calmed down, gently roll the wick and push it slowly up your nose. It stays there and soaks up the blood....

This works very well, at least on relatively minor nosebleeds. Instructions only in French and the leaflet is very poor so it’s not clear if it should be wetted with saline before or after twisting — I suspect before but after works too. After opening the Coalgan bag by following the dotted lines, twist Coalgan to obtain a compact wick. Coalgan should be moistened only with a 0.9% NaCi solution (physiological serum) to facilitate its introduction into the nostril. Pinch nostrils for 10 min and leave in for 30 min & max 24hr. Provided it’s wetted it does not stick to the nostril. Cheaper elsewhere!

I read other reviews before I purchased this item. The strips are very fibrous and not very big. Certainly not big enough to roll up and insert in the nostril. I cannot see how this small strip would stop bleeding from one's nose ? The instructions are in French too ! I feel I have wasted my money.

Bought this for my partner and he has nothing but praise for it as it stops bleeding fast and you don't need a lot. An excellent product
