StarTech USB-A 3.0 to HDMI Converter, 1080p60, Windows Driver Required, TAA

Great Product and easy also. Just plugged it in to my PC using Windows11 and it downloaded the driver for me and added a third monitor. Works like they were meant for each other.

Awesome! worked right out of the box! A windows update (I think) wiped out use of my HDMI port on the back of the pc, or the motherboard of my older Lenovo (Ideacentre 510a) would only allow one video source --from those back side ports. However, this adapter plugs into the BLUE USB ports in the front of this pc model, and after just a few seconds it recognized the second monitor. I am so happy about this! A fine workaround. If you have a similar situation, and you do have the blue-lined USB port(s) somewhere on your pc, this might be the only solution you find.

This was the only adapter that would show an entire movie on my TV without either dropping out altogether or skipping frames. Lots of cheaper knockouts have been tried. None of them, in my experience, can show a 2 hour move without glitches. Great job.

good, works fine. Can get super hot sometimes and I notice a very light yellow tint only because I have my other monitor connected straight to my computer to compare it to. It is a cheap adapter so it is what it is but i serves its purpose for my third monitor.

The instructions were easy to follow and it works great! I love that they put a card on top that walks you through exactly what to do, how to find the driver you need, and how to reach them if you have problems.

Works with Dell Vostro 3420. Tried to cheap out with another brand. This is worth the extra dough. Easy set-up and no lag so far on my output screen (Arzopa 17.3").

Freezes my laptop. Updated the drivers and no resolution so stopped using. Driver crashes often per troubleshooting.

Incredible that this works! Minor issue is that it sits a little lose in the USB port which temporarily makes it lose connection if I bump it. I angled the computer away from me to avoid touching it.

Je l'ai acheté pour ajouter un troisième écran à mon ordinateur portable et j'avais un peu peur de rencontrer des problèmes de compatibilité. Au final, tout a fonctionné immédiatement et j'ai pu utiliser mon triple écran en quelques minutes. Très satisfait de cet achat. Si vous cherchez une solution simple pour ajouter un écran supplémentaire, je le recommande.

I recently upgraded to this StarTech adapter after a frustrating experience with a cheaper, no-name version that caused heavy lag on my second monitor. The difference is incredible, there is absolutely no sign of delay or stuttering now. It feels like a direct connection, and the build quality is noticeably superior. If you're setting up dual monitors for your laptop, save yourself the trouble and skip the generic brands. This one works perfectly right out of the box and is well worth the extra investment for the performance it provides.

Laptop only had 1 hdmi port and multiple USB 3.0 ports. I have two monitors, first one I used hdmi to hdmi and the second worked instantly with this adapter. Very happy with this cheap solution.
