Electriduct Wire Duct Cutter from, Inc

This wire duct cutter works great for smaller type pvc based flexible raceways for concealing cable. The ones used to hide HDMI cable, home entertainment system type cables for TVs, etc. This is not intended for the commercial type raceways used for bundles or bulk data communication cables (fiber optic, bundles of ethernet, bundles of coax etc) in wiring closets or data centers. I use it with the d-line series raceways size medium which is about 1 inch and 1/4 wide, half round and protrudes about half an each to three quarters. No issues in cutting this smaller type of raceway. Those who have given this a lower review must be using it on really hard or large PVC which this is not intended for. This is a very similar product sold by panduit and cable organizer but at a significantly cheaper price.

I was intrigued by this tool for its price point. I have a similar pair at work but from Panduit and they cost close to $250. These are good. They do lack in leverage to cut thicker plastic

Up until a few months ago I did not know these things existed always used portable to cut these things are fantastic durability is great accuracy of cutting is unreal great value for the money

Definitely not a good tool for cutting wire way duct LARGER than 1". You have to do small chips AND have to worry about the blade sliding on you, you also have to generate a lot of force for the cut. Wire way covers [over 1"] .... it flattens the sides and adds a flare effect (yes, I have the wire way facing the correct direction). I've taken it apart and tightened everything, no solution. Truly saddens me. I'll stick with my heavy duty industrial sheers. They work so much better.
