Kept my iPad cool, could not hear it running
Kept my iPad cool while doing 3D photography in 90-degree weather. Didn't even hear it running. Kept plugged into a power bank that was in my pocket which made it easy to use. Wish it had arrived a day earlier, but it worked great on the 2nd day of a two-day job.

Great value for great cooling
Works very well. Can be powered from an external usb battery backup. I use mine mostly when I have to use my iPad in the sun . iPad will shutdown if it gets too hot. This will guarantee no overheating! It’s a great tool for when you need to keep the iPad cool. My iPad is used for music - it would be really bad for it to shut down during an outdoor concert. I could go back to paper but would rather not!

I received a bad one
I tried this on my iPad Pro and it was a good concept but a few things were wrong. 1) it didn’t really cool my iPad. Just kept it slightly hot. 2) the on and off switch must have been bad because sometimes it would turn on and sometimes it would just not turn on at all when switching. 3) The little buckle things at the end kept slipping off my iPad and it would stay on. I mean it would stay on if I didn’t touch it. But sometimes it would just fall off.

Works on a Windows Surface 8 pro
I placed the metal plate with adhesive on what I felt was the hottest area of the computer (under the camera and 2 cm toward the side with the USB - c connection ports. I feel it has done a good job. The fan speed and temperature of the cooling plate is affected by what type of USB to outlet box you use and the voltage to the outlet, but I think this goes without saying. Overall I am pleased with this product.

Uses 43 watts, gets condensation, but works!
The fan is black with orangey gold color on the front. It's not gunmetal gray like the picture shows and the fan changes between colors automatically. No way to control the fan color with the RGB. Aside from those two things though it does work extremely well. It pulls 40 Watts and draws up to 14 volts on high mode if your power supply supports it. The temperatures that you're seeing on the screen -2 and lower, I thought that was just marketing fluff but it really is the temperature in Celsius. My infrared temperature tester confirmed. It's basically a patellier cooler with an RGB fan on top and some plastic housing. 40 watts is a lot of draw for something small like a tablet but for my application, cooling electric scooter controllers, it works really well. It has to be plugged in to work, it does not turn on as soon as you plug it in There's a small button that's a momentary push button switch, with three different modes; low medium and high.

Won’t last-6mo review 2xs used
Bought mid December 2025 for travel. Haven’t had to use till now July 2026. Plugged into wall using 5v standard usb brick. Ran for all of 15min. Now it won’t run at all. Used it one time before as it was plugged into the car usb port. Now I have a paperweight that got used 2xs.
