Great hair cream without chemicals. I’ve been using it for more than 2 years now and I’m very happy with it

Really great product, one container typically lasts me 4-5 months. A small amount is enough to give a great hold and style and your hair doesn't feel all brittle or like plastic.

I keep going back to this product as its pretty much the only one with mostly more natural/non toxic ingredients and it works well to give my short hair some texture and hold.

FAR TOO STICKY, NO SMELL, GRITTY TEXTURE DISSAPOINTING

I was a little disappointed to find out how small the container was when I received package (feel like I should be getting more for the price you pay). Product itself is natural feeling and I do believe made from organic ingredients. It dissolves well into hair but produces a somewhat dry and undesirable texture. Product doesn't hold all day either, I find hair drops and is difficult to restyle due to the texture of the paste. (although it does state 'matte finish' and 'medium hold' on container). another disappointment was scent of the product; it doesn't smell fresh or pleasant to me (could be due to the all natural ingredients). I feel if your paying this much it should at least smell nice... Although, a major positive of this product is the fact that I feel I'm not rubbing chemicals into my hair everyday...

Since I use organic products, my light curls don't hold a great deal. I still need other products to condition my curly/wavy hair, but if I apply a tiiiiny amount of this at the end of my regimen, my curls hold for much longer. The quantity of product I use is so small, I can't feel anything when I apply it... but any more than that is too heavy (and difficult to remove). The wax makes it a lot more resistant to humidity and even water. Picture attached is after several days swimming in the sea, no showers, travelling in the heat: my curls wouldn't survive this. But with this product, my hair was protected, and held its shape for longer. Not exactly what I was hoping, but very interesting product, probably versatile depending on your type of hair, and of course very healthy.

He usado siempre cera pero quería encontrar una cera que fuera orgánica sin que me perjudicase al pelo y la encontré, la fijación es fuerte y tiene un olor anaranjado, con que te eches un poquito ya basta asi que puede durar mucho. Sin duda alguna la volveré a comprar.

Wäre das Produkt ein konventionelles Haarstylingprodukt mit vorrangig künstlichen Inhaltstoffen, würde ich nur 4 von 5 Sternen geben. Die Paste ist nicht perfekt, aber für eine schadstofffreie Matt-Paste (Ökotest 2020: Sehr gut) macht sie wirklich gute Arbeit. Ich nutze es bei kräftigen, mittellangen und leicht lockigen Haaren, um etwas Form und Spiel in die Frisur zu bringen. Man darf allerdings auf keinen Fall die gleiche Wirkung wie bei, vorrangig chemischen Produkten erwarten. Die Haar fühlen sich zunächst etwas trocken an, dieses Gefühl verfliegt aber schnell. Die Langzeithaltbarkeit und die Stärke des Haltes sind aber natürlich aufgrund der fehlenden künstlichen Inahltstoffe, eher schwach bis moderat. Dennoch gibt es für meinen Haartyp genug Struktur und Form. Der Geruch ist nicht wirklich toll für meine Nase, verfliegt aber in den Haaren und ist okay. Einzig der Preis ist grenzwertig.

I've been using this John Masters Organics hair paste for a while now and its one of those products where you immediately notice the difference coming from whatever you were using before. The hold is strong but not stiff or crunchy the way cheaper drugstore pastes can get, it keeps things in place all day without feeling like you put anything heavy in your hair. The texture is smooth and fortunately a little goes a long way, which helps justify the price somewhat. A 2 oz jar lasts me probably 3 months. You can feel the difference from typical grocery store available brands, it's not greasy or heavy. It is expensive, and on top of that its getting harder and harder to track down these days. I went without it for 6 months when I couldn't find it in stock anywhere. I ended up trying other products including gels, but now that it's back on Amazon I'm back onboard again. As long as you can find it and you're willing to pay the premium it's absolutely worth it.
