eufy X8 Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner with Mop and Self-Empty Station

The eufy X10 Pro Omni robot vacuum cleaner with mop is an incredible machine. Technology has moved on so much from the last robot vacuum I bought nearly three years ago, that was noisy, left half of the dirt on the floor, bashed into furniture and left messy marks on the floor after mopping (that had to be hand mopped afterwards to remove the marks!) The eufy X10 Pro Omni is a beast of a machine - the docking station (that stores the water tank and dust bag) is massive so make sure you check the measurements before buying as it takes up a fair amount of room. Set up was easy - the manual was online (so not wasting paper, that just gets lost or thrown away anyway) and I was ready to map the downstairs area within about 20 minutes of setting up. The app control is excellent - it is fairly easy to customise how you want the cleaning carried out and it was easy to set up routines (choosing water use / vacuum strength / edge cleaning and so on). Regarding the vacuuming and mopping. It cleaned my wooden floor and front room carpet perfectly - picking up cat hair, dust and crumbs leaving the floor spotless, and the mopping was also perfect - stubborn stains (that were left behind by my previous robot vacuum) were cleanup up and there were no lines from the mopping - the floor looked the best it has looked in years. The eufy X10 Pro Omni goes back to its base station around 3 times for a 3 room (office / front room and hall) clean, to empty the vacuum bin or top up when mopping, as the water sits in the base station, but it informs you along each step of the cleaning process. After mopping, the base station cleans and then dries the two permanently attached mop heads that sit at the rear of the robot. You can set for 2-4 hours for the drying - I initially set for 2 hours which is fine. The only negative is when the robot vacuum returns to the dock to empty the dirt to the bag in the base station, it sounds like a jet taking off, so maybe place the base in a separate room. To buy the dust bags direct from Eufy is expensive at nearly £20 for 6, whereas you can buy non-branded alternatives from Amazon at around £15 for 12 dust bags. This is a top-quality robot vacuum that does the job perfectly, with plenty of customise options, regular firmware updates and easy to follow online instructions / app.

I should start this review by stating, very clearly, that I am not a domestic goddess. My natural inclination to slovenliness is exacerbated by the other inhabitant of the house, a grumpy cocker spaniel who does not pull his weight with the household chores and traipses all sorts of mud, dust, food and hair everywhere. A colleague had let slip in a meeting that they had a robot vacuum and I had laughed at the thought - "don't they just scare pets and get lost/stuck in inconvenient places?", I asked. Then, several weeks ago the state of the house was really starting to get me down and I bit the bullet and started researching. A top of the range model looked appealing, but as I was still not really convinced it was a good idea, I wasn't prepared to spend £400-£500 on one. Then I found this Eufy G30 model - not quite the latest technology, but tried, tested and - with a helpful special offer - considerably cheaper. It arrived quickly - thank you Amazon Prime! - and once unpacked the first challenge was to find a suitable "Home" location for the base. This was more challenging than I expected as it should be positioned at least a metre away from any obstacles, but close to a plug socket. As I have a small-ish house all my sockets tend to be in the corners of rooms - the most convenient spot was in the corner of the living room, tucked behind the sofa. It isn't ideal, and occasionally it will get lost on the way back home, but 90% of the time it is fine. After charging up the unit and forcing myself to do the basic "pick everything up off the floor" style tidy, it was time to unleash the beast. It's fair to say that the first couple of cleans were entertaining to watch, but a bit underwhelming. The spinning brush went missing on the first clean (sabotage from the canine housemate, I later found it in his bed!) and the unit got stuck between a dining chair and table on the second. However, once we sorted out the first few snags I was seriously impressed at how much dirt and dust it can collect. I tried the automatic mode, but this wasn't working for the amount of dirt in my house, so I keep it on Max power - as a serious point, the dog is terrified of my big vacuum cleaner and whilst he looks at the Eufy very suspiciously and stays out if its way, he is much less bothered by it, so I'm justifying it with reduced canine stress levels as well. We now have a routine, the dog and I leave the house for our morning walk and set the Eufy off to clean downstairs. By the time we get back my lounge, kitchen and dining room floors are dust, hair and food free - it genuinely makes so much difference to how I feel. Once a week I set it up to clean upstairs. The first time I did this I realised that I had definitely made the right choice. The newer units are taller to accommodate more brushes and mop features, but this little champ can actually squeeze under my divan base. It's amazing! I empty it about once or twice per week, which is very easy but I do tend to spill dust as I'm doing it and the filter cartridge gets clogged up quite easily. I hope that spares are readily available as I suspect I'll need a few. It can't pick up big pieces of debris (e.g. dog kibble), but handles most other things well. The spot cleaning function is OK, but I generally just set it off to clean everywhere. I tried the remote control function from the app and found it a bit pointless, I just pick the unit up and put it where I want it instead. All in all, I'm really happy with this purchase. It seems sturdy and I hope it lasts a couple of years - I just need them to invent a version that can climb stairs and dust higher up places as well :)

I bought this Eufy to make life a bit easier at home, and it’s done exactly that. It’s simple to set up, surprisingly quiet, and just gets on with the job without any fuss. I like that I don’t have to think about it — it keeps the floors tidy while I get on with other things, which feels like a small but very real win. The cleaning is thorough, the battery lasts well, and the app is straightforward even for someone who doesn’t want lots of tech noise. It’s also been great on both hard floors and rugs. What I appreciate most is the sense of calm it brings: one less thing to do. If you want a practical, reliable helper that genuinely makes home feel more manageable, this is a good choice.

I’ve owed this for around a year now. It’s very very good. Out entire ground floor is wooden floors. So maybe that matters. Once you’ve moved things out its way, it gets on. Yes it occasionally gets stuck (rarely) and might not 100% reach some corners. But I have to admit - we are incredibly hands off with it. The moppingsction is great. Really compacts the dirt in storage bag also. So accessories last quite a long time. Just need one that does stairs now!! I feel it was good value for money when we got it in the prime day sales.

I bought this Eufy as a replacement for my beloved Robovac 11 (named, imaginatively as “Eufy”). I’d stuck some googly eyes on him and he must have been seven or eight years old when he started failing to return home. He then started failing to do anything. Just sitting there and bleeping. I was bereft. I’d got quite attached to him as he ran around and kept the place nice and clean. I had a go at fixing him. I took him apart right down to his motors, cleaned those and removed seven years or so of dust. This didn’t do much so I had to admit defeat. I gave Eufy the send-off he deserved after all those years of tireless, loyal, hard work. I stripped him down, removed his battery and recycled his parts. It’s what he would have wanted *sniff*. It was time to replace my beloved Eufy, so with a heavy heart and a tear in either eye, I chose this one with the clever app and mapping. The new Robovac turned up in its new box and to be honest I wasn’t expecting to get on with it. There’s no remote control, the old Eufy’s remote doesn’t work with it. It only has one spinny front brush thing. And I don’t have any googly eyes to stick on. Anyway, I set it off and was much surprised to hear it speak to me- and in a female voice, so now my robot vac is female. I couldn’t think of an imaginative name, so New Eufy became Newfy, as my beloved Eufy had gone to the recycler in the sky. It would be an insult to both of them to have the same name. Newfy, it turns out, is actually very good at her job. She cleans on the timer and takes half the time that Eufy used to take. She doesn’t simply bang around the place until her battery is low and then limps home. She follows a route. She makes a map as she goes. She goes up and down in a logical pattern. She knows where she’s cleaned and where needs to be cleaned. She knows where her home is and when she’s finished, she tells me in a loud and proud voice that cleaning is completed and she’s going home. Off she goes, following a direct route to her base station, not bumping and banging around for another fifteen minutes like the old one did. She cleans well, too. My carpet is spotless. My only criticism is the remote or lack of it. The app has remote controls built in, but they’re hidden away in the settings. I kinda miss the character of the old Eufy Robovac 11. He was dumb, and bumped about. He was covered in scratches and bumps from where he’d knocked himself on stuff, but I simply can’t fault the efficiency of the newer, smarter Newfy. She gets the job done in half (or a quarter if we add on the bumping around to find the base station) the time and she does it much quieter than Eufy did. She doesn’t wake me up like Eufy used to as their cleaning times are set for early morning. Awesome. Would definitely buy another.

Avoid buying this unit. The S1 Pro has many manufacturing issues. Had an issue out the box where the seals were faulty on the dirty water basin and error codes popping up so it was unable to auto clean. Read online possible fixes and managed to get it working. However the unit lasted less than a year as the unit suddenly started popping up error codes anytime it tried to empty the robots dirty water reservoir. Checked online and found another manufactoring fault where the point of contact between the base and robot unit would break. Contacted Eufy, and sent off for repair. Received the unit back, only for it to show the same faults on the first run. Contacted Eufy again, this time they offered a unit as a replacement that I already own but is worth £400 less. After some back and forth, they sent a refurbished S1 pro out to replace my model. The refurbished model they sent had the contact units broken off, possibly a fix to the manufacturing issues that have been reported online. I sent the refurbished model around to map the floors and then did an auto clean. The floors were spotless as I'd cleaned them the day before and the rovot failed to empty the dust bin, giving yet another error code. I checked both the base and the robots internal bag. Both were clean. Sent another faulty product. Contacted Eufy once again only to be fobbed off, they escalated the issue to higher up positions but when I asked if I could talk with them, I was told no, they only contact via email. All in all, avoid buying this, really wanted to like this and for it to be a good product but unfortunately from my experience and the poor customer service I'd recommend you avoid like the plague.

We absolutely love this robot vacuum! It connected to both my phone and Alexa in just a few minutes, and it responds to voice commands very well. The setup was quick and easy, even for someone who isn't very technical. The cleaning performance is excellent. After the very first cleaning, our floors were literally shining! It cleaned the corners really well, and I also enabled the "clean close to walls" option in the app, which made the results even better. It picks up dust, cat hair, and dirt much better than I expected. The only thing I would like to see improved is the voice control. I wanted Alexa to clean only the kitchen for a second time, but instead the robot started cleaning the entire apartment again. It would be fantastic if voice commands could easily start cleaning a specific room instead of the whole house. Another small suggestion for the developers is to support more languages. At the moment, the language options are quite limited. Please add more languages in future updates! Apart from these small things, this robot has been amazing. It has already saved us so much time, and now I can spend that time with my family instead of vacuuming every day. I'm genuinely happy with this purchase and highly recommend it! 😀

So I have given this a 5* rating not because it is perfect but because it is way better than my expectations had led me to believe. So much so that I bought two. One for the ground floor and one for the first floor. I may yet get a third for the top floor! So let's start with with limitations. It won't pick up your discarded underwear, it can't vacuum up gravel walked in from the garden and it's not designed to suck up dried up caked mud all over you nice new carpet. You do have to be a little tidier than you might have been. Don't leave sheets of paper on the floor or shoes with shoe laces trailing away from them or bags with straps. Basically anything that would stall a manual vacuum cleaner will stall this one. If you have lose mats then you may find that your Robovac pushes them out of the way rather than cleaning them. You may need to use the magnetic strips to cordon of the top of the stairs (if it over shoots it will get stuck) and furniture they may get stuck under. The strips can go under the carpet once you know where to put them. And of course it doesn't have Darlek technology so it can't clean your stairs. If it does get stuck then you get a helpful message on the phone. So with the limitations out of the way lets look at what it can do. It's easy to install and integrate with Alexa. Your can name them, I called my two Bob and Doug after the two astronauts on SpaceX Demo2...how sad is that and you can use Alexa to start them or stop them. You can use Alexa routines to set up a schedule or use the Eufy app on your phone to do the same. I used the app. They self-charge returning to the charge ports when low on energy. The charge port is best stuck to the floor or wall to ensure its not knocked out of the way whilst cleaning. I used the tabs they supplied to do this. I have put one port under a cupboard and the other under the bed but I suspect that under the bed is not a recommended location for safety! With them configured up I set them off. Oh what a surprise. They actually cleaned! I had previously vacuumed the floors but they still both completely filled up on the first run. After a week or so running them every other day the floors (carpets and Amtico) have never looked so clean. I am so impressed. They are very good at getting into the corners and their streamline brushes get under the edges of things to. I also love that they go under chairs and under the beds. In my house there is a n aluminium track between the conservatory and kitchen for the sliding doors. They hurdle this with ease. After the initial clean I have found I need to empty them about once a week, no big deal. And as the time has gone on I have move furniture a little to avoid them getting stuck and learned to keep the floor clear. An excellent buy and if you think about it the cost is not a lot different from the hand held battery vacuums that other top end supplier sell only these do it on their own. UPDATE: After just under a year of service the battery in one if my vacuum cleaners failed. I contacted Eufy and within 3 days I had a replacement battery with no quibbles or hassle. Excellent after sales service. Five stars well deserved.

We’ve been using this robot vacuum and mop for over 10 days now, and we’re absolutely in love with it! Living in Saudi Arabia, dealing with dust settling on the floor right after vacuuming was a constant struggle—but this machine has been a game-changer. It vacuums and mops efficiently, meeting all my expectations. Of course, it’s not a replacement for manual cleaning, as it won’t reach behind doors or tight spaces, but I’m genuinely impressed with how well it cleans. After each run, the floors look shiny again. One of my favorite features is how it automatically empties its dustbin and washes its mop before moving on to the next room. At the end of the cleaning cycle, it also washes and dries its own mop, which is a great touch. The device can detect objects on the floor and avoid them—for example, if there are toys lying around, it won’t attempt to clean that area. The only minor downside is that the emptying station is a bit loud, but it only runs for about 10 seconds, so it’s not a big issue. Overall, we’re extremely happy with this product and highly recommend it!
