Sturdy box
Great enclosure box for my new electric shower RCBO. It's big enough for all the wires to fit without compressing anything.It's made of good plastic and I like the fact the door cover is easy to open.

Damaged on arrival
The Consumer Unit was damaged in 4 different places on arrival. Both door hinges were broken and two of the corners were also damaged. I can't see how it would have sustained such damage in transit as the Amazon packaging was OK, although the CU was just sent in plastic shrink wrap. Thought I'd try to fix the damage with super glue, rather than return. The broken corners were an easy fix, but the hinges were just too tight to mend... trying to refit the door just broke the hinges off again. Will be ordering a better quality alternative.

I personally wouldn't install electrics like this somewhere where there would be excessive rain/wind, the waterproofing of the unit seems consistent with other units I have used.The unit comes with 3 DIN areas open, and the rail fitted to the rear. I did find that the junction/choc block didn't go all the way to the rear as expected, however there was just about enough clearance to the front of the unit so long as the cables used are not too thick.One thing to be aware of, a bit of a shame IMO, is that there are only two rubber grommets supplied. So only 1 cable in 1 cable out unless you purchase/source another rubber grommet. It is the minimum viable, so I can't complain too much, but I would think most people putting in a junction box, would need 3.

Incompetence
I was recomended by Amazon to include this with my purchase of the Derwin automatic transmission. These two components do not work together , and are very dangerous if installed. Amazon needs to have competent people who understand installation of electronics, DavId Harrison
