Good but not removing odor

These work just as well as the brand name filters at half the price. They fit perfectly, are easy to change and collect a lot of dust/dirt. Highly recommend.

TLDR: Good filters. Stinky brown box, not perfect but twice as cheap as Levoit replacements that smell twice as bad. FIX THE STINKY PACKAGING, we want the FRESH air. Pros: 1) Twice cheaper than the original overpriced replacement. 2) Actually has more carbon pellets than the original replacement I'm replacing with these. 3) Doesn't stink nearly as much as the original replacement. The filter that came with my purifier was actually perfect, totally smell free and I couldn't be more happy with it. The original replacement I got (brown box) had a strong chemical smell that even made my throat sore. I sent it back and was denied replacement as "the filter was fine". These one have a smell, but I feel like it comes from the brown box and not the filters, and it off-gasses pretty quickly. 4) Feels like it's well built. Cons: 1) Comes in a brown box with no way to tell that it's actually a Jorair product. By comparing pictures I can tell it is, but no proper labelling on the box and the filters is suspicious. 2) It's easy to install but the fit isn't perfect. I feel like it doesn't sit as flush/snug in the purifier as the original does. It isn't bad, it might be just fine, but it doesn't feel as snug. 3) Comes in a STINKY brown box, which means the filters smell and carbon pellets are already partially worn out from the box (the bags filters come in have holes). Luckily, I feel like they stop being smelly pretty quickly once they're installed. Still much better than the overpriced Levoit replacements which come in a stinky brown box as well but are also stinky by themselves. Don't get me wrong, sustainability is good and all, but if you produce air filters, you shouldn't use materials that make the filter STINK so it makes the air stinky and your throat sore. I want the air to be FRESH. 4) I feel like it's more noisy than original filters. It might be a good thing if filtration rate is better, but you won't know until you test these with specialised equipment.

Works just as well as the name brand filters.
