Stoppy Door/Window Stopper (transparente)

These are great door stoppers! I noticed some reviews state that they don't work properly. I noticed this once but it was because there was dust on the floor so the rubber couldn't grip properly. I wiped off the stopper with a little water and it was back to working fine again!

Works perfectly, bought for the office but went back to get more for home once I worked out how useful they are. Our utility room door is too high off the floor for a normal door stop but wedge this little gadget in the hinge side between the frame and the door and it has the same effect.

Very useful device... I bought them for a pair of patio doors that kept blowing closed and I did not want to start screwing on latches so they are perfect and fit in a number of ways without causing any damage or trapped fingers!

After receiving some completely useless answers to my question (WHY do people bother replying with, "I don't know", if you don't know, don't answer!), I took a complete gamble which paid off. Fortunately, this Stoppy DOES hold open my heavy door. I do think it depends on HOW you angle it and WHERE you place it on the door. I placed mine upright (like a comma ,) and put it near the centre of the door. I'm happy!

You have to get the stroppy stoppy very precisely in the right place and then if anyone brushes lightly against the door it doesn't hold it. Rubbish

As long as you use it to prop a door open in the same position all the time, it's a nice looking, functional item. However, if you need to close the door fairly frequently and then prop it open you may find it's a bind to keep bending down to position the stoppy. Unlike a wedge it can't be kicked in or out of place with your foot. And, if you open the door wider than the stoppy is positioned it falls backwards and you have to bend down to reposition it. It's also not very good on high pile carpet.

These are really useful. Works in place of a traditional door stop but also keep patio doors open by placing it at the hinge. Only given it four stars as the clear one marks very easily. Have it in red too and that's perfect!
