an external speaker is needed to have a listenable experience. inbuilt speakers are extremely bad, but connecting any random speaker with a 3.5mm aux cable will make it fine for beginner listeners. might be worth buying replacement diamond styluses off the bat because the default needle is cheap and can damage your vinyls
