Very nice, basic, wired, lighted keyboard
Very nice, basic, wired, lighted keyboard. I wanted a wired keyboard, and bought a USB extension. I was getting interference from LED lights using a much more expensive small lighted BT keyboard. I like this one much more. The lights color can be selected, or you can have a rainbow, or you can have it pulse when typing (annoying). The lights stay on while there is power to the USB (PC sleep mode), but you can turn the lights off with an easy keystroke. I bought some $9 metal legs to give the keyboard more angle. The large font is also very nice - along with the backlight illuminating the letters. Overall, I like it. Is is a high-performance gaming keyboard? No. But I am not a high performance gamer. I just wanted something to use when controlling my big ol' TV / PC at night in the Family Room. This is absolutely perfect.

Exactly what I was looking for
SABLUTE Large Print Backlit Keyboard, Wired USB Lighted Computer Keyboards with 7-Color & 4 Modes Backlit, Oversize Letters Keys Easy to See and Type, Quiet Keyboard Compatible for PC, Laptop Purchased October 12, 2024 for $25.99 before tax I have been looking for a good backlit keyboard that is easy to use and won't break my budget. I'm getting older, so I need bigger letters that I can see at a distance. This may be more than I need, but I think of it as an investment in the future of my vision loss. I had no issues setting up the keyboard and the instructions included let me get the color and mode settings the way I wanted within a minute or two. I highly recommend this keyboard to anyone with vision issues that works in lower light conditions.

Cheap and worth it. Legends are large and clear.
The key lighting is really important to me as I have to use it in a pretty dark room. I have a couple very minor cavils. (1) I've used it pretty much daily since Feb 2025. 6 months later, the printing on the A and S keys is wearing off (the keyboard is designed such that there is a fluorescent flat sheet underneath the keyboard, and all the keys are painted black except where the legend is supposed to show through. The black paint is wearing off.) You can see that this is beginning to happen to the left Shift key too. (2) The other is that the keys are not conducive to fast typing. The keyboard is cheap and feels it. You need to develop a particular touch to make sure every keystroke is registered. Also, you should have good aim. If you slightly miss the backspace key (which I use far more than any other key) you'll hit the key above it which brings up the Windows Calculator applet. Unfortunately, pressing it again does not dismiss that applet. You have to download the Microsoft Power Toys Keyboard Manager and turn off the keyboard Start App 2 function so that key does not cause any action. I've probably bought 6 different lighted keyboards and they're all cheap and poorly implemented in some way. I wish I had bought two of the "CyberPower" keyboards; they're the best but appear to be discontinued. I guess there's a new iteration of this but I have no reason to try it yet.

great for low vision
I bought this for my elderly mother who kept getting locked out of her online accounts for failed password attempts. I suspected the problem was her eyesight and/or insufficient lighting at the computer keyboard. This product solved both issues. The keys seem bigger and the letters are large well lit. The keyboard was plug and play, with easy USB installation. Mom hasn't messed up a single password since I installed it. I'm thinking of ordering another one for my computer. The keyboard does cycle through several illumination colors. There is a way to freeze it at a certain color, but apparently you have to do that each time. There is no software to set up programming preferences, but that just adds to the ease of installation. If you want the fancy stuff, maybe go for something more upmarket. For a basic lighted keyboard that is easy to see, this works just fine.

Updated: Replacement Keyboard is GREAT
Update to the Update: This KB (the replacement) is now useless. It has gotten progressively worse since I left the review (the update) below. Same issue as with previous KB - the keys are just impossible to depress with any non-100% verticle hit (which is impossible, when typing.) Tolerances are simply out-of-fit... the keys are too loose. My other identical KB is still doing fine (purchased a year ago.) Whatever changed, perhaps this can help Sablute to check their manufacturing processes - and, whatever changed in the past year. (Typed this on a different KB, of course.) Not worth my time in even dealing with them, at this point. (The back-lit lighting, still work remarkedly well, though... shame that the mechanics/tolerances are diminished.) I can send this latest one back, Sablute... again - my other KB is awesome. Just offering. Updated: Update: The folks at Sablute reached-out to me for further information. They offered, sent, and I received a replacement keyboard. THIS one is perfect! Typing this reply up on it, atm. Thank you, Sablute for your EXCELLENT customer service - I do realize that, sometimes, a bad-one gets thru. Also - a correction to my previous post: That was the 3rd keyboard I had ordered previously (Forgot that the first met it's fate with coffee/brew spills.) Again - this current, replacement KB - PERFECT. Sablute indeed, stands behind their products. I offered to return the difficult-working KB - they insisted no, and that they would look into improving, further, their manufacturing. Definitely, give these keyboards a shot. They work great for me and my low-light needs (again!) Pic shows replacement KB, at bottom. Original: Prompt shipping. Second purchase of oneof these. First KB purchase - noissues , at all. Bright lighting, and large, EZ to see, keys. As I type onthisone, however , key are loose, and difficult to the touch, some non-responsive - like they are loose in the housing. Space bar (as u can tell) mostly works - I am not returning, as this is for my garage workstation - and I type little on it. I have to make a conscious effort to press... Likely lst one I purchase.

Illuminated LARGE PRINT KEYS.
So far the keyboard is everything it was advertised as and serves every need that I bought it for. There is a very slight stiffness when pressing the keys but after all it is brand new and has had no real use time yet so the keys will smooth out the more it is used. Unless your finger bones have been previously shattered, then no one should have any issues using it brand new right out of the box. The illuminated colors perform excellent in a dark environment which is what it was created for by giving bright illumination around the entire base of every key and through every number, letter, and symbol that is on the key. The keyboard has a key for every use or function that I would ever need including a (FN-function key) which many other keyboards don't have. This keyboard is light weight with smaller dimensions (L x W x H) than your older keyboards and that helps at freeing up more space at your work station. I am more use to a larger and heavier keyboard but will have no issues whatsoever transitioning over to and getting use to this keyboard. The usb power cord could be a little longer to prevent any issues with how far someone decides to place their computer from them but for me it is not an issue and my computer tower sits on a low shelf above the floor under my desk and to the right of me. How crisp and clear the letters and numbers come across depending on the color you choose is a matter of personal opinion for every user but for me I like the green and light blue colors the best, but don't get me wrong for the other colors work just fine to. My previous keyboards lasted 7rs and the other 4yrs before keys started to not respond, so if this keyboard lasts me at least 4yrs then it was worth it, only time will tell. I don't put alot of use on my keys by typing away all day every day so I don't see me having any issues with the black surface wearing off the top of the keys for a very long time if it even happens at all. It's a good keyboard and i'm glad I purchased it, it serves me well. ...UPDATE 3 months later: everything about this keyboard is fantastic except a handful of keys that seem to rub on the sides of the holes they protrude out of. When these keys catch the sides like they do they result in the character not getting typed on the screen or double characters appearing because you have to press down hard to get the keys pass the point where they rub. This can be quite annoying and time consuming so I had to retire this keyboard into the spare keyboard pile to be used as a spare when my current keyboard breaks down and i'm waiting for a replacement in the mail. If these keys didn't rub and catch like they do then this would be my #1 keyboard for everyday use because everything else about it is fantastic. Hopefully the manufacturer can address this problem and smooth out the key holes or enlarge the cuts so this rubbing and catching doesn't happen anymore. I had to take away 2 stars because of the key issue. :(

Impressed
Year ago bought a backlit wireless/Bluetooth keyboard. It was nice but the battery life sucked. So I started using my old Logitech keyboard with great battery life. My home office is dim at night and thought I'd try another backlit. I'm really impressed with this one and the price point. I love the big letters and my typing skills have really improved. I can clearly see the keys with zero eye strain. It's small and has all the functions I use. Keys feel comfortable and has multiple color options. So I can switch it up if I get bored. I'm not a gamer, just an email guy. So my abuse level is low and sure it will last me for a long time.

So Far So Good - Except... Edit: June 28, 2024
The keyboard is great. It was missing the instructions to get the lights to work right but I just went back to the Amazon page and read the reviews, which are a great tutorial. Here's what I DON'T like: VERY often, I'll look up and see that letters or spaces are missing from my text due to the almost imperceptible "key travel" on this keyboard. I hate the description of "mushy" but if I had to give it a description, "mushy" would be it. On two occasions, a couple keys just stopped working. Why? They were stuck. I corrected this by wedging something under the keys to pull them up again. It happened to my Space Bar, which was very odd. But the keys don't have much in the way of "travel" and so I guess I have to always be careful to hit them squarely and hard. Other than that, the keyboard is great. The paint isn't going to come off the keys like it did with my old keyboard that I bought from Amazon. These keys are as perfect today as the day I unpacked it - and I use this thing all day long every day. Overall, I give the thing 4-stars. One other thing. There's a key that is just right of the F12 key that invokes the Windows Calculator. Don't miss the Backspace key or you'll wind up with a dozen or so Calculators on your display. What's THAT all about? Edit: Well, the Space Bar has stopped working on the far right side (you know, where your thumb hits it). So, I bought this thing in 2023 and I'm half way into 2024 and I need a new keyboard. The paint is starting to come off one of the keys but not badly. I've had way worse keyboards. I need to trim my fingernails more, I guess. But the Space Bar breaking in under a year is no bueno. I'm going to deduct 2-stars on the basis of overall durability.

Backlit keyboard
I am very pleased with this keyboard, the lights work how they are supposed to, the quality is good and the best part is that the fonts are large which is nice if you have trouble seeing. It has legs so it will raise the back some, easier on your hands. The price is very good, I find that the noise is not annoying at all, I would definitely buy again

Very disappointing
I had expected much better for the price. Poor quality with clunky keys that jam unless pressed absolutely square on. The keys need to be pushed down a long way as well. I think they're trying to make it appear to be what is incorrectly referred to these days as a "mechanical" keyboard. This was not apparent from the advertising, so came as quite an unpleasant shock. The black portion of the key tops is very this and after just a few months of use has already worn off in places. The backlight settings are nor remembered after a power outage, so I need to find the manual and go through it all over again. I seriously regret the purchase.
