Best flashlight for light painting
I'm sure this flashlight has many other uses but as a photographer I use it for light painting when shooting at night with long exposures. The compact size, sturdiness, rechargeable, long-lasting battery and especially the adjustable brightness make this perfectly suited to the task. There's a small learning curve with the way that the power switch and brightness dial work together (when I initially received this, the brightness dial was all the way to zero and so it appeared that the flashlight was defective because it didn't turn on when I pressed the button) but that's easily overcome.

Great flashlight!
Bright light with long coverage. Important features like adjustable brightness just dial in what you need. Instant strobe when needed as I already repelled a coyote. He decided he needed to be somewhere else besides in front of a brilliant strobe. Nice size for use if things get up close and personal. Some are too big for a sure grip and others too small. For security or law enforcement or rescue work this is the best I’ve owned in 10 years working security on a big lot. Retired I use it to walk my dog at night and it gives me heads up on predator locations. We’ve got coyotes, bears and mtn lions in the area. Seems to charge fast enough. Would be nice if it came with an extra battery if I was still doing overnight shifts I’d buy a couple extra batts. It sure beats the Olight Warrior 3 in features and I’m hoping in longevity. The Olight was done for in 90 days. Same $ and this one has great features.

Small yet powerful.
This flashlight is high quality with extremely high performance that enhances visibility in the dark. I have used this flashlight during temporary blackouts and it can light up a room. I highly recommend this small yet powerful flashlight.

Best Flashlight Used Hands Down!!!
As a LEO, its almost a given that a good flashlight is needed. This was my introduction into the Nitecore Line and I was not disappointed. I wanted to give this an honest review and after a year of having the SRT7i, I can say that I have not been disappointed. Pros: Extremely bright light that illuminates everything in its path. Easy to use Durable. Cons: Can get hot fast (expected with such a high output) Brightness level can sometimes switch unintentionally. I don't normally carry my light on my belt, so an alternative is carrying it in my pants pocket. I accidentally turned on the light while in my pocket and burned a hole in my pants. *Not the lights problem, user error* But it gives you an idea of how hot the light can get and its noted on the light itself. I have dropped the light in a foot chase, its rolled down a hill and it has stayed working like new. I used a Streamlight before, which I was told was the Gold Standard for flashlights and Law Enforcement but I can gladly say that this is my top choice going forward.

SRT7i, nice options, property battery
I purchase as an-all around emergency light with distance. I also separately bought a diffuser for flood light. Battery is Nitecore proprietary. Spot light has good distance. Control ring is handy for dialing in preferred output. Although Max output is 3000, like most brands the sustains output would be somewhat less. I would rate this as a"Cadillac" version of a Streamlight HL-X USB (which I also own). Upgraded in options and performance (brightness an battery) for a slightly higher cost. Overalk I'm happy with it, but I prefer the feel of the P20i, P23i, and even the SL HL-X for "ice pick" grip, and prefer the SL HL 5-X for holding at the head of the flashlight. Overall a good light if you want a little distance and more variability of brightness.

Super bright long throw
Really nice, solid, well-made flashlight. A bit on the larger side for an edc but works great for looking about outside with the stepless brightness adjustment, good hotspot and really long throw. USB-C charging is a plus but for some reason will not charge with the “smarter” cables I use to charge my iPad. Huge battery will not fit on any of my chargers. UI is great and love being able to immediately access Turbo brightness at a touch when I need a momentary boost with the light already on.

Best flashlight I've ever found
I do security and property management in a high crime city and had used many different brands of flashlights. This model from Nitecore is easily the best. Solid, durable body, head and tailcap. 3,500 lumen max with around 50K candella (how far the light us thrown). I've shone this well over 250m and had good, clear visibility at that distance. The battery is very large and lasts for months on a full charge. I also LOVE that the USB charging point has a metal cover that is far superior to most manufactuerer's flimsy rubber USB caps that always fail. I've had this model for a couple years and would definitely buy again and recommend.

Nitecore SRT7i
This is a very good light. Worth the cost. The variable dimmer is easy to use although at full brightness it does get warm but the light is very intense. It comes with a holster of good quality. I keep this attached to my wheelchair and use it frequently. I haven’t had any battery issues although I don’t use it for long run times. This is the second nitecore light I’ve used. The first one is over 10 years old and still works fine and with the original holster.
