The HOLOSUN SCS PDP is an outstanding optic. The direct-mount design gives it a clean, low-profile look on the Walther PDP, and the fit and finish are excellent. The green reticle is incredibly crisp, bright, and easy to pick up, while the multi-reticle system gives you some great options. I especially like the solar charging system and the fact that there’s no need to constantly worry about changing batteries. It feels rugged, well engineered, and built to last. Fantastic optic and a perfect complement to the PDP.

Perfect drop in for the mos 2 optics ready slot on the newer f-series pdp. The Holosun SCS (Solar Charging Sight) PDP (Walther) GR (GReen) reticule (3 options - dot, circle, dot in circle) co-witnesses with the factory front and rear sights right out of the box but the manual states it can be adjusted depending on your needs or preferences. Green dots are nice and bright day or night, auto adjusting but also manually adjustable. No shake-awake option needed for this device because of ridiculously long battery life (20,000 hours) using solar/ambient light recharging capabilities to extend it. *A charged battery is only necessary for nighttime use. It states it'll run off solar (and simultaneously charge) in day/ambient light. It came charged in the box so I haven't tested this yet. Maybe in a couple years.. only if it never sees the light! So.. don't look for a battery port because it's sealed within. The sight can be turned on/off with a side button that also cycles through the variety of reticules and brightness you choose. A few people seemed to complain about the mild effort of setting the reticule and brightness but the button is very slightly recessed so that there is no accidental changing of your settings whether in use or bumped when not. Use your fingertip to press the button semi-firmly, not your wider fingerpad, it's simple. The grooves on this Holosun sight line up flawlessly with the f-series slide allowing for unhindered grip on rear end chamboring. It's a two screw install after removing the mos plate and the manufacturer does suggest a tiny dot of removable lock-tite on each screw though that was not included. This Holosun has a small enough footprint for ccw/edc and will fit in sight-ready kydex, leather, or other similarly designed carriers. This was designed specifically for the walther series pdp/pdp-f but my experience/review is about the pdp-f which comes standard with the newer mos-2 receptacle. Make sure you have a mos-2 slot on your standard pdp because older pdp's are often mos-1.. or if you intend to use this Holosun with a different manufacturer/model. As this is a new purchase, I will update if anything changes but for now it seems to be a sound, long-term investment.

Extremely high-quality sight that arrive quickly and exactly as described. Perfect fit made it extremely easy to install. Holds zero extremely well. Green multi-reticle dot/circle allows for fast targeting.

If you have purchased a PDP pro, this is the best optic for you, hands down. Plus you don’t have to wait for your base plate from Walther. The side grooves line up perfectly with the rear serrations on the weapon. Looks awesome and performs the same.

It's a pretty good optic that's made for the PDP and fits perfectly. The sight is very small and takes some practice and getting used to. I own several optics on different guns, and this one is my least favorite. It doesn't have the clarity or glass size of my Sig Romero one pro, and I prefer the Vulcan reticle on my Holosun 507K. Nonetheless, this is still a solid optic.

I own a PDP SD Pro 4.6”. This sight is designed specifically for the 2nd Gen models. First gen you MUST use an adapter plate I have a 407 c (Holosun) for that. Walther provides 1 free adapter. This SCS blends into the firearm perfectly the side cuts match up. It sits low so there is no need for suppressor height sights to co-witness you can use the factory. I will eventually swap out for som night sights like Ameriglo trooper series. Excellent sight picture and several settings. I would highly recommend this Green dot sight.

I purchased this for my Walther PDP. It was manufactures recommended red dot. It was not cheap but it fits right like it was made for it. It dose not stick up high like other red dots and the body patterns match the PDP. Money well spent, highly recommended.

Excellent product. Custom designed for the Walther PDP (mine is the PDP Compact 4). Exact fit and allows co-witnessing of the green dot and the iron sights. Solar powered and gets sufficient power from the light it receives through your clothes. If the sight becomes underpowered, the reticle will flash informing you to give it a few hours of direct sunlight.
