Prime Source Celsius WG - 0.226 oz Easy Mix Packet-Post Emerge Weed Control

This herbicide was just what I was looking for - something that would kill the weeds, but not my Saint Augustine grass! Especially in the summer when it’s difficult to kill the weeds, but not the grass, this product did just what I wanted. After two or three weeks, I see that the product is working; the weights are tying or dead, and the grass is thriving!

A bit expensive but it works well I use it for spot spraying burrweed patches in my St Augustine lawn. No grass damage. Other off the shelf herbicides didnt work I mix and mid strength. I add a touch of surfactant and blue dye

Mixed with two gallons of water and sprayed on the areas of clover in my centipede lawn. It took about three days to begin showing signs of yellowing, and the photo showing the brown clover was taken around six days after application. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this product. It does what it says it does, and it doesn’t look like the surrounding centipede was damaged by the application. As a note, the grass looks very different in the attached photos because the second one was taken first thing in the morning, right at sunrise.

Fantastic product, my zoysia lawn had a decent amount of Virginia buttonweed which is a perennial and tough to eradicate, the weed and feed I was using wasn’t doing the trick so I tried this and 3 weeks after putting it down so many of the weeds are gone, second application after 3 weeks took half as long to spot treat as the first time because there are so many less weeds. Also, the zoysia took it like a champ, the spots of grass that got sprayed ended up being only slightly less green than the rest of the yard and bounced back in about 2 weeks/3 mows. This second application will have them almost, if not completely eradicated.

Hasn't worked yet. First of all, the directions are all warnings. I wasn't able to find the DIRECTIONS on how to do anything other than, don't eat it, don't put it in your eyes, don't put it in the rivers and streams, and don't, and more don't's. How about, how many oz per gallon. I finally found the line that says the package is 0.226oz. So I got out the mirror and a credit card, then split it in half (more or less) and mixed it in a 1gal sprayer. I used 1 gallon on the front lawn spraying the visible weeds and then broadcasted it all over. I mixed the second gallon and did the same in the back. It's been almost a week and it doesn't seem to be working. The weeds are rich and green. I'm glad that I didn't buy the $100 size. Yard size is typical for a single story residual that doesn't have enough room for a pool.

Loved how effective this is. Most people, I read, mix it with certainty herbicide but that was too expensive for my individual use. Just used this handy little packet perfectly priced for a 2 gallon mix to which I added a little surfactant. Covered about 2k sq ft. It has started to kill weeds I have no idea what they are called ( mostly broadleafs). Slow acting but it surely looks like is very effective.

Celsius WG has been very effective on my warm-season lawn. It provided excellent weed control without harming my established turf when applied according to the label. It mixes easily, a little product goes a long way, and the results have been consistent. Definitely a product I’ll keep using.

Excelente producto, no daño mi grama pero elimino los “weed”. Mi esposo también lo uso en casa de nuestro hijo que tenia varias variedades de maleza y funcionó. Compramos uno extra, para tenerlo.
