Can you write on the paper or is it got a slight plastic covering?

I would say yes you can write on the paper. I’ve not tried it myself but it’s great for origami.

Does this come with instructions to follow to make things or just the paper?

There are 100 sheets and the package weighs 322g. Each sheet is 3.22g and cover 1/25th of a square metre. 25x3.22 is 80.5 so the paper is 80.5 gsm
