Art Canvas Storage Rack

Our daughter needed a way to store her art paintings and we noticed this one on Amazon. The reviews were good so we purchased it. It arrived without issue and was easy to assemble. Good quality wood and feels durable. Glad we bought it.

I teach and have several framed charts that have to be pulled out then replaced every day. It wasn’t working for them to lean against the wall. This turned out to be the perfect solution to keeping my classroom neat and organized and allowing me to easily pull out and replace the chart I need. It’s sturdy, good quality, and easy to put together. I taped the tool for assembling it underneath in case I ever need to take it apart and put it together again.

A good solution for an inexpensive price. I like the caster wheels on the bottom, so I can wheel the canvases around. I did not put all of the wooden dowels in the holes, so that some slots can accommodate wider pieces. It's a little shorter than I thought, so if you are storing larger canvases, be careful as they may lean against the top of the dowel and cause a small dent. The racks can hold canvases up to about 2 feet tall. They can be wider but place them carefully or they may tip over, the base is not very wide. Overall it works fine for my needs, and was easy to put together.

Perfect organizer for our various sized poster boards and canvases (that just don’t all fit nicely anywhere else). Very sturdy and super easy to put together, I opted to leave every other rod out so I had more room to pack our canvases in. I love the taller rods - made it possible to stack shorter canvases on top of each other and the wheels are perfect so my kids can wheel it out and back when they’re done. Finally able to keep an area organized that always became messy after one use!

I'm very happy with this product. I bought this cart as a birthday present for my husband for storing his canvases. It was super easy to put together (with a little help from your own wrench) and it's sturdy.

This little guy is way more sturdy then you would think. I however don't move it around. It is wonderful art storage

I needed something for my paintings in the studio and was going to build some racks but saw this. I bought the mid sized rack on wheels to test it out and it works perfectly for what I need in a small studio where space is a premium. The photos show 6 paintings in the rack larger ones in back are 30 x 40 inches which works perfectly for me. It is easy to put together taking about 10 minutes, well designed and good looking.

I've had canvas, mat board, foam core, sketch books, frames and portfolios leaning on walls and furniture around the art area for years and thought it was time to organize. This is great. The parts come well packed with all the wood parts wrapped in thin foam to protect them. I did find one small flaw/scratch in one of the base sides, but since it's near the floor it's not noticeable in use. Assembly is easy even though the instructions consist of only 2 line diagrams ala Ikea. It took me just under an hour to unpack it all, get organized and put it together at a leisurely pace, partly because of a problem I caused. I fully tightened the first two screws that connect a side of the base to the cross dowels. When I tried to attach the other side the screw heads didn't align with the pocket holes, so I had to back out the original 2 screws to where the head was above the hole to give things some wriggle room, put in the other 2 screws, then switch from screw to screw to gradually tighten all 4 at once. That worked just fine, and I'd suggest to do it that way to avoid my issue. Once all the screws are tightened down this thing is solid - no wobbling or flimsy feeling at all. You only need 2 tools to put it together and they're both included - a small Allen wrench for the screws, and a little box wrench to turn the nuts that tighten the casters. The casters are small (1.5 inch) and made of a non-scratching plastic. They work fine on my carpet and would also be fine on hard floors - if you have very high pile carpet then they may not work as well. The casters also have a brake. The upright dowels are about 23 inches tall, though you can put taller items in as the dowel tips have the edge slightly rounded so they won't tear or scratch anything. The space between the dowels is about 2 1/8 inches, but if you have wider items to store just leave a pair of inner dowels out and you have a 5 inch space. There are 6 slots total to store things in. I may take this apart again and refinish it - would be nice if the stain matched my bookshelves - but the finish out of the box is fine. It looks like a natural pine color and is very silky to the touch. The only things missing are 4 plugs to fill the 4 screw holes in the sides of the base. It would not add much to the cost, and most furniture using pocket holes comes with plugs. Overall I'm very happy with this storage stand and would not hesitate to recommend it. Very functional and simple design.
