USB3.0 KVM Switch HDMI 4K@60Hz for 4 Computers Share 1 Monitor, KVM Switch 4 Port with 3 USB 3.0 Ports Share Keyboard Mouse, Support Button Switch, Plug and Play

I bought this 4-port KVM switch to simplify my desk setup, and it has made managing multiple computers much easier. I use one monitor, keyboard, and mouse for my work desktop, personal PC, a testing machine, and a media computer, so being able to switch between them with a single button saves both time and desk space.Installation was straightforward, and all four systems were recognized without any extra configuration. The picture stays sharp at 4K, and my keyboard, mouse, and USB devices reconnect quickly after each switch. I also appreciate the compact design since it keeps cable clutter under control. After using it daily for work, file transfers, and system maintenance, it has become an essential part of my workspace and has made my routine much more efficient.

This has made it easier to switch between computers while sharing the same monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Setup was straightforward, and the connections have worked consistently.

I have three computers: An older Win 10 (my primary machine), an older Fedora Linux, and a newer Win 11 Laptop. I *can* sort of switch between them to do most of what I want do using Cygwin from the Windows machine and ssh to create remotely and I already had a 2-way KVM. The 4-way switch now allows me to also access the laptop with a real keyboard and a much larger screen. I don't use the last port, but it does work properly.I used the extra (for me) HDMI cable to attach the switch to the monitor (bundling the wire) and can't find the the extra USB cable now. (I wanted to measure its exact length.)My older Win 10 uses a graphics card that doesn't have HDMI output, so I needed to get a DVI to HDMI dongle. While waiting for it to arrive, I used the Fedora as the primary. This worked out mostly OK, but not completely. When the dongle arrived I shut down the Win 10 machine, connected the monitor via the dongle, and restarted it. This sort of worked for a short time. The monitor was OK, but windows wasn't happy with the keyboard/mouse. These have a wireless connection plugged into the KVM. The mouse was erratic and would stop. Win 10 eventually complained too, and completely disconnected the USB port. I switched the connection over to port 4 and Windows complained that it couldn't handle it. I suspected that there might be a cable problem, but tried rebooting the Windows machine first. Voila, it started with no mouse/keyboard problem. I hot switched it back to port 1 with no problem. The new switch remained on during all this time. Maybe the Windows problem was due to having the keyboard and mouse connected (but unused) and not the video. I don't know, but there's no problem now, except:The cables are about six feet long, but that's a bit too short for one machine. I'd like the switch to be about an inch or two closer to the front of the desk. Now I have to reach under the monitor to switch. By the way, you *need* to attach the little plastic feet that come with the switch package to the bottom to keep it from sliding on your desk.The picture in the add shows the front and back side of the switch. It should just show the front side and the back side as an alternate picture. The switch is one box, roughly 8" wide x 3" deep x 1 1/8" high (with the feet.) The USB ports switch along with everything else so this is really a KVMU switch, obviously the U for USB.I like the switch, otherwise I wouldn't have spent an inordinate amount of time writing this review. It switches pretty quickly, less than 2 seconds. This is hard to measure exactly because it also takes some time for the OS to respond. I have to hold the switch when pressing the button to keep it from sliding, but I'm not switching often enough for that to be a real problem for me.

The KVM switch works like it should I have hooked 4 computers to it and able to switch between them effortlessly.The problem I faced was that my gaming mouse and keyboard would "freeze up" for anywhere from 1 second to 12 (the longest one I counted).I realized that the switch did not provide enough power to keep these devices stable. I purchased a USB 3 switch, plugged my mouse and keyboard connectors into that, and that into the KVM. Everything now works perfectly.I subtracted one star for this shortcoming. It cost another $17 to fix an issue that should not exist in the first place.I hope this helps anyone that has the same symptoms.

Edit: the problems have gotten worse. The switch that comes with this is already beginning to fail. One of the output is also starting to have issues. I've had to restart the device on several different occasions to get the keyboard and/or mouse to be recognized by it. I got this in February of 2026, it's only June and I've had these issues for a couple months now. Already looking at different replacements. Will not bother with warranty on this one since even if they replace it it will surely still have the same issues in a couple months again.Original: Pretty much what I wanted. Make sure it is receiving sufficient power or there will be issues. Apparently it also can have issues with adapters and docks. Oddly enough that's exactly everything I'm using. My PC has display ports and no HDMI so adapter, other connections are a Steam Deck, a ROG Ally and a ROG Xbox Ally. Had some problems at first, but changed my adapter (not the cable) and trouble shooted to get it working exactly how it is supposed to. One problem I found was the Xbox Ally does not function with this at all. Didn't matter what dock I used (have 3) but it wouldn't connect and switching to it would cause the other connections to break as well as far as visually concerned. The keyboard and mouse plus the external SSD all connected regardless. Once I disconnected the Xbox Ally HDMI from the KVM everything went smoothly after. Surprising read write speeds for the connected SSD considering it is a hub point. Other things I noticed was it forced the resolutions of the connected devices to change. This is where the problem with the Xbox Ally came into play. It doesn't like the forced change and would not display. So that now has it's own direct connection but still using the kb/m passthrough when using the big screen. Another feature that could use some addressing is the length of the power cable. That thing is short, from my desk to my outlet is not very far, but the included cable couldn't reach. It is plugged into one of the docks since that's about how far it reached. Overall happy with the purchase, the "manual" said to not use a different cable to power it for various reasons so... Got it on sale so the price was right. Comes with the USB cables, switch box for convenience and one HDMI cable. It includes rubber feet and attachment for mounting elsewhere if you don't want it sitting on your desk top. I have mine attached to the wall for better cable management since it has 13 cables coming off it.

This has helped immensely. I carry this in my bag for when I am doing on site pc imaging. Can't beat this, I have a KVM Switch at home that I put aside because this is more practical, and takes up less space! I've recommended to my teammates as well, highly recommended to all who work in the field or in office updating multiple devices at one time.

I really like this item. I do not have much problem with it, the setup is easy and the USB ports on front and back are great.I have one issue however, and if it is fixed, I would be happy to give 5 stars.I have 3 computers setup using one monitor. 1 desktop, and 2 laptops.I have noticed that as I switch between laptops and desktops, the monitor screen is not always detected.Additionally, when I switch, from 2-3 for example I can still tell on the Laptop that is inactive that it is detecting the monitor.. so Items sometimes get lost as they do not push back to the main laptop screen.This requires me to restart the laptop to recognize the correct number of screens.Please let me know if there is a correction, or something I can to do fix this issue.

For the price, you simply can't beat this KVM! It has a nice compact footprint, is super-quiet (no cooling fans, etc.), transitions from session to session smoothly with little lag and uses standard USB and HDMI cables (no proprietary KVM cables needed).My main complaint is when switching from host to host the USB devices are connected/disconnected - this causes the sound for "USB Device Disconnected" to be played on the machine you are transitioning from, and "USB Device Reconnected" to be played on the machine you are transitioning to. Of course this is SUPER annoying, but you can turn off these sounds in the Themes on each of the machines connected to the KVM (unfortunately this will apply to ALL USB Connect/Disconnect actions not just those on the KVM). The sounds can be dealt with, but because of the way the KVM manages these devices you're going to see a LOT of USB Device Disconnect/Reconnect messages in your hardware audit log, and of course this introduces a slight lag when transitioning from session to session. My prior KVM (a Belkin F1DP116G) kept signal to the keyboard and mouse on each host machine active (whether USB or PS/2) so this was not a problem - if this KVM could do something similar it would be a HUGE improvement!Gripe #2 is the location of the 3 USB ports, they are all in the front of the unit. Meanwhile all OTHER cables connect in the back. I think it's great to have USB ports in the front for things you might want to plug in and take out (like a thumbdrive), but could you put at least two or three in the BACK so we can connect the keyboard and mouse (and maybe one other permanent device) in the back and not have their cables visible on the front of the unit?Lastly, the unit is powered by a USB-C cable to an AC power adapter. I have this plugged into a power distribution switch on the same circuit as my monitors. At the end of the day I flip the switch to turn off this circuit to power down my monitors and KVM switch - but the KVM still has power! It must be drawing power from the USB cable to one of the hosts (that is up and running 24/7)! It would be helpful if the KVM would power down when the power supply to it via the USB-C cable is terminated.Bottom line: Great value for the price, seems efficient and reliable - but with room for improvement.

Mes machines de test sont : un M1pro fin 2021 et un PC fixe de plus de 10ans.Je n'ai pas remarqué le moindre bruit, ou le moindre scintillement / lag / décrochage des périphériques.Chaudement recommandé.

Habe den Switch bestellt, weil ich zwei Rechner an nur einen Monitor, eine Tastatur und eine Maus anschließen wollte. Das hat problemlos geklappt und es funktioniert bestens. Die Umschaltzeit beträgt 2-3 Sekunden. Der Switch funktioniert auch, wenn nur ein Computer eingeschaltet ist. Sehr positiv habe ich empfunden, dass neben den USB-Kabeln auch zwei HDMI-Kabel mitgeliefert wurden. Etwas nachteilig finde ich, dass die Anleitung nur auf Englisch beiliegt. Alles in allem ein kleines feines Gerät. Wie lange es hält, bleibt abzuwarten.

I have 4 devices on this (one laptop, 3 PCs), three of which are 4K & 60fps, all plugged into a Samsung 32" 4K monitor (LU32J590UQUXEN if you're bothered).All devices have HDMI audio pass-thru which is running into the KVM over HDMI and back out of it to the monitor, then out of that via phono to a set of speakers. It all works well.This little switch (which incidentally is surprisingly heavy) handles it all.I think some of the people who complain about the switching delay are actually seeing their monitor reconnect, so it may not in fact be the KVM causing the delay at all, it may be the monitor.I had some oddness with the KVM until I plugged it into a 2A charger rather than trying to power it off the hosts. It will actually appear on, and will "work" off the PC USB power, but for it to be reliable it needs its own power source (not supplied with the unit). I used a phone charger.The LEDs showing which lines are connected (and that the unit has power) are too bright, I've taped over mine with insulation tape to dull it.I found one PC that didn't like the fact that my keyboard has a USB hub in it, which caused an issue as the KVM is *also* a USB hub. Unplugging the second cable from my keyboard (thus removing its hub) fixed this issue.I found the supplied HDMI and USB cables to be too short, so I used other ones I had laying around.The supplied HDMI are just regular ones, around 1m long. I replaced all 5 (4 to hosts, 1 to screen) with 2m HDMI cables I had.The supplied USB KVM to host cables are USB-A at one end (the switch end) and USB-B at the other (male at both ends), again only around 1m. I mention this because in 2021, USB-A is prehistoric; if you want a cable longer than 1m you'll likely need to buy it separately. I was lucky to have a load of old ones.Surprisingly good little device for the money. I paid £70.

I tried and send back a few HDMI KVM switchs claiming to support 4K but unable to handle 1920x1200 resolution (16/10 format so appreciated for photo editing).This KVM does it very well. Then, the only missing feature is the remote control meaning the box is to be located on the desk to be accessible.Apart from this, this is a nice device.
