Great value and delivered as advertised. Not much weight to it as all made of plastic but my children love it.

This plasma ball is a fantastic novelty gadget and instantly grabs attention. The lightning effects look brilliant in a dark room, and it's great fun watching the plasma streams follow your fingers when you touch the glass. It's well made, easy to set up, and makes an excellent display piece for a desk, bedroom, or games room. Both kids and adults have enjoyed playing with it, and it always gets people talking. A fun retro gadget that's surprisingly entertaining and makes a great gift. Highly recommended.

Xmas pressie for my autistic son - he loved it after firing it up on Xmas morning, but after less than 10 minutes it started flicking on and off sporadically, then stopped. Turns out it's a problem with the power port in the unit, it will still work but only if you push down hard on the jack point where it plugs in to the unit - HOWEVER - mass production, faults happen, so I am returning this one but ordering another from the same seller. UPDATE BELOW! UPDATE Bought a second one, this time it lasted four days, being turned on once per day before the exact same issue happened - the power jack when in the port has to be pushed down hard for it to turn on, so the same issue has reared its head. I bought another as sometimes with mass-production there's the odd issue, but this is the exact same issue as the first one. Given one star as when it worked my boy loved it, but now it doesn't I'll be returning it for a refund and will get a better quality item elsewhere. Gave it a chance but am bitterly disappointed.

My daughter desperately wanted one of these. I noticed this one was bigger than most advertised and having read the reviews decided to buy one. I was glad I did as both children were keen to play with it when they saw it. I think the fact you can set it to react to music as well as just touch it, definitely adds to novelty of it and it tends to be turned on more often as a result. We've had it for a couple of months now and no problems so far. I have taken a couple of photos taken in semi-darkness (there was light to the side of me) and I think it looks quite pretty. It is more effective in the total dark if you wanted to use it as a night light. The only downside is that the sphere is glass so couldn't use as a night light for a little one, but that's all.

Great plasma ball. Good size and works a treat.
