Fixed a problem...
I am lucky enough (from my former DJ years) to own a pair of Dynaco 50 speakers which are the main speakers for a 10-speaker set-up. They are extremely rare, with two (2) 10 inch woofer and a super tweeter each. Highly rated, highly prized, and VERY powerful. Originally they set on a floor of the cabinets, and for lack of a better word, they BOOMED and vibrated...NOT to the benefit of the sound! I order these isolation pads, trimmed them to fit, and VOILA! My over 300 watt sound system is now even more IMPRESSIVE to say the least. Good job, Adam Hall.

Well made, but little SQ impact
These were able to slightly reduce the bass boomyness I was getting from my speakers' coupling with my desk, but don't expect them to make a huge difference. No amount of isolation and dampening can take the place of proper speaker placement. That said, these are well made and each pad comes in two pieces that allows for vertical angling of the speakers. They look great and work as intended - just don't expect a huge improvement if your placement isn't great to begin with.

Pricey, but make a big difference.
These made a significant difference with my inexpensive Sony bookshelf unit. I have listened to them daily for several years, and wow what a difference the isolation pads made. Clearer bass, less distortion at higher volume listening, and my neighbors probably appreciate that less sound is going through my desk to the floor beneath and wall directly behind. If I hadn't had a gift card, I probably wouldn't have bought them, as expensive as they are (two formed pieces of sliced foam cost pennies to make) but after hearing the difference, I would have bought them anyway. The cost is really the only con.

Nice quality, great price!
I just received these Adam Hall SPads and I am thoroughly impressed. I have not tried other more expensive brands like Auralex yet, but these feel like they are high quality and look really nice. I thought my monitors were going to "sink in" and compress the foam, but the foam can handle a lot of weight when it is distributed evenly across the top surface (try pressing the top of the foam with your finger, then with your hand and you can tell the difference). I really like having them angle upward toward my ears with my M-Audio M3-6's. They fit great and look great on my desk. Next I will be testing for improvements in sound, but so far I would recommend these pads based on the quality.

Squishy at first, but when placing my entire hand down, in force the pads support well, as for sound, *UPDATED*
These pads feel cheap and squishy at first. if you squish them with your fingers. I then placed them on a table and spread my hand and pushed down they support well, meaning they'd be fine for bigger heavy speakers. - I'm using them with two PA-8C Premier Acoustic Center/LCR speakers, standing up on a desk. They are the perfect size for these speakers place vertically :) (PA-8C Premier Acoustic Center/LCR has Dual 8-inch woofers 3-inch mid range and 1 inch titanium tweeter)-(they reach 48hz) - I Noticed a long time ago when listening to music at fairly high levels and in parts of the audio that were bass-y that the low note would be kind of 'boomy' in a sound effect kind of way like: "Bvvvvvvv", less clarity basically. This is what lead me to researching about the boomy sounds, one person I found said something about speakers being directly placed on a table would cause the boomy sensation or sound. SO, then I Found Auralex Monitor pads, but those I Felt were to expensive, and for a first time buying something of this type I thought I'd go with the lest costly solution. - As for the sound well I'll do more testing/listening. I'll update soon. - The stickers come right off by the way. I Think this is a good thing. - * UPDATE: ok so my final thoughts on the sound with my LCR's on these pads are the bass is not boomy now, I currently run the crossover on my pc sound card at 50hz. I'm definitely getting the lower end of what these speakers can produce. I Feel with these pads the lower notes aren't wasted in boomy-ness/vibrations on my desk. Very nice, also the overall sound is more crisp and clear. So, .. great!!

Expensive shaped packing foam - but it works.
As others have said, you won't point at it with pride as a quality product - it's just a piece of foam with a sticker on it. You get two thick pieces with a taper towards the front lip - to slightly angle the speaker downward. There are two tapered pieces that make the thicker pieces flat when placed on them. They are packaged atop each other in a poly bag with a card stapled to them - with no info as to use, company address (website is listed), or country of origin. My first reaction upon seeing it was that I had just paid nearly $24 for a piece of packaging foam. My second reaction was a verification of PT Barnum's axiom about a sucker being born every minute. Then I installed them. I placed the thicker pieces under my Infinity P163's (6.5" & .75" drivers), one in a bookcase and the other atop a corner cabinet - at the same height/position from the corners in my office. At my desk, the high end was brighter, while the bass seemed more controlled and deliberate - I moved my 12" Polk powered sub to the LR as a result - the office stereo is only used for music anyway. Five stars for use - one for quality - average: three stars.

Good Stuff
Excellent isolation pads. I have a pair of JBL LSR305 studio monitors setting on these pads, and if I didn't know any better, I'd swear I was listening to the $500 to $600 pair of speakers. Outstanding results that I didn't really expect. HIGHLY recommended if you want your studio or references speakers to sound a LOT more expensive. Good stuff and WELL worth the money.

Improved sound!
I have B& W 601's and after buying a new media center I wanted to relocate the speakers to the media center either side of the TV but wanted an affordable solution to the sound transferring through the wooden media center. After reading up on the ECO Series I thought I'd give them a try. They are larger than the base of the speakers and the foam pad does make the set up look a little odd, but the difference in sound is amazing, no vibration and a little more punch and really clear highs. Well worth the money!

I recommend these for anyone who need a good pair of pads for their studio monitors without spending too much money! They are great for the job, the price is good compared to other brands and it shipped sooner than planned! Thanks for this

Just as good as the original pads I got with my monitors, which had dried out after a couple of years. Looks good and does the job
