Gate latch
Needed this gate latch if my driveway gate. It worked just fine at keeping the gate closed on windy days which was the problem I was trying to solve. I had tried a few other latches but they would eventually bend or give way all together.

Nice products
Really nice design and manufacturing. It just isn’t stout enough for 2 5’x8’ steel gates. I wish I had one in steel.

Nice light to medium duty latch.
This is not a heavy duty latch as advertised, but is very nice for light to medium duty. Is well finished and operates smoothly. Not good to secure a structure as screws are easily removed while locked. Works great for a fence gate latch. Only con is the small screws provided. Would like to see slightly longer #10 screws included. Good buy.

Easy too install. I love the design. Practical and attractive.
Product received matches the online description. Very attractive. When engaged/closed the wide latch in the wide slot keeps the gate from 'rattling' on windy days! Very little 'play' in the latch when closed for a nice secure closed position. Screw heads show a little rust already after install 2 weeks ago. Black coated stainless screws would be a nice upgrade. Overall very pleased with this purchase!

Works well
I bought this to shut my carriage garage doors. It works great. Holds even during very windy weather. You might have to replace the screws with longer ones. I had to because of heavily wind. The device is strong and works well.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: We bought a gate from Etsy for the deck to keep the dogs in and it came with a slide latch. The hinges we requested made the gate open fully so it would be out of the way and since there is no middle brace to stop the gates one good paw pushed the gates open enough the dogs could get out. This flip latch solved our problem! Now the gates can’t open in either direction with pressure. The dogs are secure and we can enjoy the summer in comfort with our furry friends.
