First, this teapot and cup combo is Beautiful. It is a work of art. Second, this teapot and cup are fully functional. The overall size may seem small in the description. When it is in your hands it is quite perfectly sized for use. The cup is bigger than the old fashion tea cups. The pot will hold at least tea for two. This set is as pictured. However, it is so much more elegant in person. If you like to have a "special time" for your tea time, this will fill the bill. I received this set in perfect condition. No imperfections. I would buy this again for any tea lover to use. This stays out on the counter because every time I see it, I smile and can't wait for tea time.

I got this for my little sister, who is a tea fanatic and proud of our Celtic heritage, as something that she could use at work so she doesn't have to keep leaving her desk to get to the hot water dispenser. She absolutely loves it. It an excellent gift, very pretty, and designed well.

LOVELY oh! So Irish teacup and tea pot ensemble, all in one. The tea in the cup is kept hot by the teapot on top after tea has steeped and is ready for easy poring into the lovely cup for nice drinking. The Irish themed work on the teapot and the cup are delightful for those who love Ireland, or ho just miss it and want a bit of Eire in their home. And a nice 16 ounce cuppa makes for a warm winter's soothing tea in a lovely worked cup.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my Irish grandmother, who is fond of all things Celtic and Irish. I haven't used it, but I took it out of the box before I wrapped it and it was much larger than I pictured it being, but looks exactly like the image. It's very pretty, and as she loves having her afternoon and evening tea, she said she loves it!

Love this teapot! It makes just enough tea for two cups, and looks nice, too. The iridescense of the green is even prettier in person. I use it for my afternoon tea at work and have gotten a lot of compliments on it. The only thing I don't like about it is that the teapot and the cup don't fit together as snugly as I'd like, but I can live with that. I will probably be buying more items from Grasslands Road in the future.

This is an amazing and beautiful set. Excellent quality, and the pot holds enough to fill the bottom cup twice. Research or watch a few youtubes on how to brew English tea if you don't already know. Whether it is the different way it brews or just mentally satisfying to "make" a cup of tea, the taste is so much better. P.S. - I run this through the top rack of my dishwasher with no issues.

The teapot/teacup for one arrived today, right on schedule, and I could not be more pleased with it. I have a modest teapot collection, and I wanted one to reflect my Irish heritage. This cup and teapot looks just as charming in person as it does in the illustration. It is sturdy enough to use everyday if I choose to do so; for now it is on display in the cabinet with my other teapots. I would happily order from this company again.

Just as good in person as in the picture!!! I don't drink that much tea so wanted smaller single serve pot with one teacup! This was perfect! You can get 2 to 3 cups out of it. I run hot water in it first and then empty and add new water to keep it hot longer. Also great gift idea!
