It's a cable. Three feet of wire with a connector at each end. One end fits my iPhone the other fits the USB outlet on the side of my computer. Neat idea, huh? It works it's charging my phone right now. Only identified problem 2 cords but only 1 phone. Could buy another phone? Have to cogitate on that a bit! Had these for a few months at least, and my cats have not managed to chew through them or get their claws stuck inside, they wrap well and don't tangle at all when stored, they charge my phone and computer as well as you can expect when using a portable power bank, and they are very portable as they stay coiled up when you put them in a bag. Do note, they do not fast charge, but they will keep your devices from dying. When using with a laptop, keep the laptop lid shut and make sure it's asleep to charge.
